I rarely do a review but the staff here went out of their way to help me give my samples after I had been knocked back by three other clinics, due to my rare allergy to perfumes and the standard hand sanitizer. Ii am very grateful that they put my inconvenient medical needs above the standard procedures.

Was told to wait more then half n hour for quick 5 mint test and lady woundt stand up to come and see paitinet.
How rude and disrespectful.
I feel why they have to stick anti aggression poster on wall now.v poor customer service

I went for blood test yesterday, the nurses who did my blood test were very friendly and sweet. After my blood test I was feeling a bit dizzy so they stayed with me for a while without rushing and before I left they made sure that I was doing ok. Unfortunately, I couldn't see their names to thank them. Really pleasent experience!

Totally hopeless. Reception sent me to one place, when I got there, I was told another place where I waited. When someone came out, I heard a number called. I asked if I needed a number and was told to go to another spot to get a number. The room in the hospital was called Waiting Room but no mention of Pathwest.

DON'T GO HERE! Waited two hours for a blood test that took 5 minutes. Just go to any other pathology centre and avoid the 2 hour wait

I had a blood test on 29/3.19. I didn't have to wait very long which was great but the nurse was obviously in a hurry & was abit rough then the phone rang & she ran off to answer it & left me wondering what to do so I left. Afterwards my arm felt sore & no wonder the inside of my arm was turning black. I'm having surgery on Friday so hope she isn't around to look after me. Not happy Jan!

Unless told otherwise, enter the hospital at the main entrance (Block B), grab a big yellow number (see photo) and take a seat.

You'll be called.

Note that there are different procedures for different tests. See photo for details.

My experience was quick and professional, after a longer than expected wait with staff shortages.

Went this morning to have blood test. Had been waiting for an hour because the 2 staff skipped the form I put in the tray. There were 2 seniors came after me but the staff called them in first. At that moment I thought might be they had some special testing. After them they called a gentleman who was also after me. I jumped up and told the staff that I had been waiting for a long time. She said, "where is your form? " I told her it was in the tray and they missed it because mine was a A5 size and the others are A4 size. She was not pleased with me saying they missed my form and rolled her eyes. No apologies were given. Mistakes happened but the attitude of that staff was not right.
They had a time stamping machine which each client has to put his/her form in to stamp the time of their arrival. This was to ensure clients would be treated according to their arrival time. The staff didnt check carefully. I am very upset about their attitude.
