Paper Avenue Cafe reviews
36The buzz was good so I expected more. Turmeric latte was delicious but that’s where the goodness ended. My breakfast wrap was cold with no accompaniment like a tomato relish to zhuzh it up. Definitely needed help. Across the road is Dome who can do a decent breakfast wrap. My husband’s meal arrived 20 minutes after the wrap - their timing is completely off.
I usually support the café across the road for breakfast. However, I thought it was time to support other local businesses. I won't be making that mistake again. The food arrived before our coffees arrived. The waitress put the filo and wrap in front of us and asked if we wanted cutlery. I'm not a caveman, so I would have thought cutlery was a given. The filo and wrap were average at best. The flavours were there, but they were cold in the middle. The coffees arrived, and they were okay; I did ask for extra hot.thank goodness. I was told the turmeric latte was delicious. Once we were done with our meals, the last meal arrived. Although it was late, I was told it was tasty. I definitely won't be going back here.
I will say that found hidden gem in Joondalup, everything was at its best and would not complain about anything because everything was 100% perfect! Maybe our dish would say it all! Definitely will be back every week
The place is very cozy but what impressed me the most was Eliandra's reception and warm service, a lot of charisma and care for the customer. Not to mention the perfect presentation of the dishes and the exceptional taste of the food. Congrats to the whole team.
Really nice place. Had late breakfast. Well priced and good food. Shared loaded banana bread and chilli eggs
I come here frequently for coffee when at work, the staff are absolutely amazing and are always so friendly. The coffee is some of the best in the area and I'm obsessed with their brownies!
I went here, but unfortunately, it rained. Needless to say, it was Paper Avenue no longer.
Great venue, coffee always on point, food always looks delicious. Good operating hours and a nice central location in Joondalup
I ordered this beautiful plate and a coffee and the food was delicious, coffee was hot enough and extremely smooth.
Extremely recommend.
Most overrated place in Joondalup. Tasteful banana bread. Clearly not homemade. Average coffee. Staff could smile more.
Good barista and food. Coffee is smooth but present on the palette. Nice setup for indoor dining and al fresco, the decor is cute.
First visit. Strong, flavoursome coffee! Great strength. Might be best I've had around Joondalup. Will definitely come again.
Coffee was great. Bagel took 45 mins and I requested no cheese as I'm lactose intolerant. Of course I left with my bagel to find it with cheese.
Coffee was perfect. Kids had milkshakes and banana bread (which was yum). They did forget my wife's GF brownie, then came out cold. Besides that small issue it was a lovely lunch.
Would come back to try the breakfast menu, sounds amazing.
This is a regular spot for my partner and I to go for breakfast/lunch. Food is excellent and reasonably priced, as is the coffee. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Great customer service. Never disappointed and always leave feeling full!
Wrong coffee order. Food is below average. Bagged cheese is a no. Bacon undercooked. Eggs were black and burnt on the bottom.
Kitchen closes at 13: 00. They don't take cash, card only. However they do have a nice selection of sandwiches and bagels to purchase. The white chocolate hot chocolate was delicious.
It was okay. Very quick which was good. Coffee was where it went wrong though. Ordered large lattes and got two flat whites in pretty small glasses. Food was quick and very good though. Floors and tables could also use more frequent cleaning.
Sunday morning coffee after a run around Lake Joondalup. The coffee is amazing! Great little cafe, cosy, friendly/bubbly staff and a great atmosphere. Thank you!
Best coffee in the Joondalup area is Stay Grounded in Winton ave (beans roasted onsite) and in Edgewater area, best coffee is I am fit cafe. If your palate is not discriminating, Paper ave is ok but staff can be rude especially Claire. You can also try moments cafe across the road, great latte art but more importantly staff are courteous.
