Papa Sweet Tooth - Authentic Vietnamese Food

This is one of my favourite restaurants of all time. It's a very small and humble store, the atmosphere is nothing to write home about (has improved in the last year, looks great now!), but the food is amazing. Super cheap and the taste is authentic. I used to go to Toto's across the road, never again. I'm here at least twice a month highly recommend the rare beef pho, the pork belly noodle bowl and the bahn mi.

Amazing food and priced well. Cute little family run restaurant. Highly recommend the raw beef noodle soup (pho).

Had a nice Ban Mhi and enjoyed it service was fine and fast and easy to find on maps when I went to another place to get a ban Mhi they didn't have any any more so I went here instead it wasn't too far away just on the Vic Park cafe strip

Their pho is kinda mid. The broth doesn't have much depth or dimension. The main flavour is salt and the herbs seem to have ghosted.

The amount of toppings and veggies is small for its price. I don't think I've ever seen a sliver of lemon this small.

The combination pho has just 2 kinds of meat (sliced beef and meatballs). While it's technically a combo, it's just bruh.

Got the dry noodle seafood. Prawns tasted like they had been frozen for a few decades. Came with some cheap stale salads out of a bag. 2 star score is fair. Anything higher would be unjustifiable in my opinion.

I went last Saturday (01 Apr 2023). I ordered combination beef noodle soup and my wife ordered low beef noodle soup. But the moment I ate my noodle, it smelled bad. Then came the dead fly. I did a complain and She said to make a new one. But I didn't new one. She was no apology at all. So I asked for a refund, but She only refunded my soup. Both bowls were the same soup. It was so unsanitary.

Went on a Friday night and the food was unbelievably amazing. My friend got some lemongrass beef bao buns and I got the BBQ pork bao buns and they were SOOOO GOOODDDD. We also got the chicken fresh spring rolls which were like rice paper rolls and they were so nice, light and refreshing, and the sauce they came with was so good and flavourful. The guy who was serving the table was so lovely too. We will 1000% be coming back soon.

Just finished a Beef Pho. The place was a mess. Utensils were oily and tables were not clean. The bottle of sauces were practically empty. Flavour not the greatest as I would have thought. Only came here as it was the only Pho place that was open near me.

Been to Vietnam and tried a copious amount of street food there, in terms of authenticity this is as close as it gets to the cultured food experience you would expect to see over there - very nice!

We visited this restaurant and found it was not very big inside. The banh mi and pho were delicious. The pho was a big portion and I found the vegetarian pho very good. Food was served quickly and service was friendly. It would be great if they could spruce up the interior to make it a more pleasant dine in experience.

Good to see a place that makes banh mi with grilled pork, not just roast pork or pork belly, although ordering can be a bit of an ordeal.

Very slow. Ordered Bahn Mi x 2. Waited in store and was crazy slow. Next time tried pre-ordering over the phone but that was even slower. Next tried uber eats - the poor driver waited but after 30 minutes they still handnt started the order. That said the food was tasty.

Portions are super small for the price that they charged. Everything is mediocre, not justified for the price of the food.

On 27/03/2022 7: 00pm, we went in there for dine-in. The guy on the counter didn't welcomed us at all and he completely ignored us. He came out holding plates on hand but quickly jogged down inside kitchen although he clearly noticed us.
We were standing right in the middle of walkway trying to get his attention. Being clueless and thought he was busy, we finally sat down on empty seats but he never came to take order. All the tables were dirty from previous service and he didn't bother wiping them at all. This behaviour was extremely rude and completely unacceptable. We finally decided to walk out. He was showing the exact bad conduct on other customers.

I ordered 1 Pho and 1 Broken rice for lunch via Uber eats. Very disappointed when received my food which there was NO soup for Pho and NO fish sauce for Broken Rice. Only 1 star and never come back.

We walked past & thought we would try. Great special out the front. Vietnamese roll For $8 and it was fantastic! The Vietnamese coffee was the best.highly recommend

The picture on the menu does not match the food that u get,
It shows that it has spring roll on the picture and when it came i ask where the spring roll they said u have to order separately
Then whats the point on putting it on the picture.
The same thing with their can drinks
When ordering never say that the ordered drink was out of stock and then just gave 2 choices after paying
Ridiculous place
Not recomended and expensive

Like the fact that the store might look a bit run down, but staffs did a good job making sure every table is sanitized properly after every customer left. Appreciate your effort to keep the store clean during this period. We ordered noodle salads and they were good! Will definitely come back.
