Palsaik Korean BBQ Perth City

First Korean BBQ we have ever had! Was an amazing experience and we all loved it so much. The staff were super nice, friendly and they get the food to us in a matter of minutes. We left no food, and left in a food coma. Just recommend going on a cool day, as the BBQs heat the room very easily! Absolutely recommend but not to children under 12! Enjoy!

Great Food but Awful service!
Within the first 5 mins of entering We received Attitude from the waitress when i was trying to ask if they had Bokbunjajoo
(Black Rasberry Wine).
Turns out they did serve it but the attitude continued till I asked if we could have another waiter

Not one staff member asked if we were ok with everything or asked if we needed any assistance with cooking, Chopping and timing the food.something that is normal with Korean bbq in my past experience

Any time we wanted assistance all eye contact was avoided and we were forced to ask excuses me 3 times at the top of our voices to get service

The food was great so hats of to the chef but the rude staff ruined the whole experience.

Had dinner here on a weekday night and it was pretty bustling but thankfully we didn’t have to wait for a table! We tried the kalbi beef and the pork belly, as well as the kimchi chigae. The pork belly was really good, and if I had to choose between that or the beef, I’d recommend the pork. The kimchi chigae also had a nice punch to it. We also added on the lettuce wraps and garlic which completed the Korean bbq experience for us. Reasonably priced, fast service and overall good experience

Tasty B combo for 4 diners but pork was tough and I was served the incorrect suju. 5% discount for cash.payment but charge for card payment

Tasty korean food. Very smoky and those pork belly was burning not cooking. Place was a bit run down. Plenty of Aussies but no korean when i visited. Liked their kimchee and the soup.

One of my favourite korean bbq place that offers great value. I normally ordered BBQ set menu (cost around $75) and its enough to feed 2-3 people if you are not a big eater. The set comes with 3 types of meat, 2 rice, salads (i.e kimchi, etc) and soup of your choice (black bean soup or kimchi soup).

The place is so popular that it is always packed during the weekend. Staff are pretty friendly (although don't expect a service level you'll get in Gordon Ramsay's kind of restaurant), and the food is always consistently good.

Shame that they no longer open during lunch time.

Great place for korean bbq. Good value as well. Tried the 8 types pork menu. Entry wait staff can be friendlier. Recommended and will return again.

The waitress was very kind and at any request she always has a smile on her face. The food was very good and tasty. Recommended!

Palsaik is a popular restaurant in the Perth CBD for Korean BBQ, with the good food quality balancing out the sometimes hit and miss customer services.

We had dinner during the holiday season and got a spot luckily as we were early enough to get the first seating (6-730pm).

We found we had to repeat our requests for some condiments to some of the staffs due to the noise and language barriers but overall customer service is good enough as some staffs are superb and friendly, making up for the others.

The BBQ meats are great, so are their kimchi pancake and fried chicken, and overall we had a good meal.

Tip 1: the stool & chairs doubled up as storage bin for your valuables if you lift the seat cushion and expose the tube
Tip 2: no booking taken so get there early for first seating time

Absolutely fantastic, menu is deceiving, you get a lot more than anticipated, dined in twice, every time its been exceptional. Keep it up

If waiting 45 minutes wasnt bad enough, to be given the wrong food and then not the correct food made the whole experience worse! Quality of food was average! The reviews do not give an actual representation of the actual venue! Would not waste my time or money going back here. Very disappointing! Alot of staff were standing around doing virtually nothing while customers had to raise hands and scream for service, I understand there are staffing shortages in Perth at the moment but there were plenty of staff standing around not providing services!

We had a lot of fun here recently. The serving sizes were fantastic and the food was tasty. The wait staff were really busy, sometimes running to tables to keep things moving in a timely manner, I think this is indicative of the industry's problems at the moment more than the quality of Palsaik's service. The air-conditioning is a bit lacking though, which is pretty necessary during summer when you're seated next to a BBQ. Still, we'll go again.

We made a reservation for 3 people on a Tuesday night and (due to a toilet emergency) were 10 minutes late. When we got there and told the blue haired lady at the counter our name she looked at her list and said “ummm, uhhhh” couldn’t seem to find our name. After a while of looking at the list she said “let me ask someone else”. She went to another girl and then came back to us and said “sorry but you’re late. Ill let you in this time but next time we can’t if you’re late”
Fair enough as we were 10 mins late but then she sat us up the stairs and we were the only people in the whole room.
Throughout our dinner there were only 2/3 other small groups that came in to eat.
If it was busy I would have understood but it wasn’t and if we hadn’t booked I’m sure they would’ve let us walk in so there was no need to make us feel unwanted, also she added an extra 5 minutes pretending not to see our booking.
I’m saying that the FOOD WAS DELICIOUS and the other servers were very friendly and polite. The experience would’ve been 5/5 if it weren’t for the mean girl at the front desk making us feel like she didn’t want us there: (

Lovely experience with foods (Chicken) and drinks. Wonderful and friendly customer service. Expert chef and staff as well as clean place suitable for family dinner gathering. Recommend it

Over all ok.pork chop meat after cooking is a bit hard, those meat in slices were well marinated. Dipping sauce for the meat is slightly sweet for me.

Rude staff, extremely disrespectful!

Unfriendly to family with kids.
Bad ventilation and smoke everywhere.
We will never go to this place again and we already let everyone know how bad this place is.

Fun experience, definitely recommend for date night or large groups of friends. Had a great time and the food was delicious. Yum! Will be back?

Used to be better. I went there with my wife on a Wednesday, it was quiet, but we've been waiting about 10 mins and the waitress didn't show up, so We left the place without have any drinks or meals. I don't know if they have new management or what happened. But it used to be better some months ago.

The waiters are so polite and the food was so delicious shout out to the waiter who run and give me back my food because I forgot and left it on the table! Thank you
