22I had Massaman curry from here… Super delicious curry with a portion of rice. Portion size is really impressive. Amazing customer service ️
I have always enjoyed the food at Pailin Thai but the lady serving me at the register for the last 4 times has tried to charge me $5 for a $4 drink which the price is clearly marked on the fridge! I have called her out on it every time and she has apologised! This was deliberate!
Yesterday I think she knew better because she knows me now but I still caught her out by her putting and extra $10 onto EFT machine for when I tapped my card. The bill was for $32 but she sneakily entered $42 thinking I wouldn't notice!
Something needs to be said as it's theft! I don't want to spoil the business for them but this has been quite blatant.
The food has always been 10/10 but yesterday was an extra small portion for my noodles and the Massaman Curry was very diluted with coconut milk compared to previous and also a very anaemic colour.
I won't be going back because of the sneaky behaviour so watch the bill and how much she charges you and how much is entered into the EFT machine before you tap your card!
