We eat out frequently & enjoy trying new venues. Oyster Bedz was recommended by a Mandurah local. We booked online for 7pm. The place was pretty deserted and there seemed to be quite a few staff around. Firstly we weren’t ushered to our table, instead the waitress pointed in the general direction of where to find our table. Having decided what we wanted to order we waited & waited for our order to be taken & eventually went up to the bar to order. We still can’t fathom whether there is table service or not! The food arrived - the mains, no entree. When we asked about the entrees we ordered, we were told it was on its way. The waitress seemed put out that we didn’t want it all at the same time & took the mains back to the kitchen. After we had our entree, the mains returned. No offer of water to be brought to the table at any point. The food was ok, nothing earth shattering. A group of 5 arrived, sat down and waited and waited. Nobody approached them or brought any menus - they walked out and went to the restaurant next door - good move! Despite the lovely view across the marina, we felt uninclined to linger and left as soon as we finished. I’m writing this review because we have so much to show case in WA and venues like Oyster Bedz could thrive, instead experiences like this drags down WA hospitality.

Food was very disappointing ordered squid tentacle with orange segment avocado salad - no orange segment and no avocado
Squid tentacle over cooked was like rubber to chew!
All I can say is chef under pressure and threw our dinner together to get us out of the way!

My guess is, these aren’t fresh Oysters…? Mushy and gross. This place has gone down hill with both the service and food. Won’t be back unless they confirm they are serving fresh Oysters, especially for an Oyster restaurant.

Just found my favourite place in Mandurah. Staff are friendly, happy just amazing people. The food was great and on the table with in 30 minutes (with a full house during valentines day). Did I mention the food was amazing fresh oysters, actually fresh.

Our second time back and service fantastic and drink service fast and the attitude of all staff friendly, efficient, attentive and welcoming. The food is also excellent and the menu varied and suits all. A great addition to Mandurah and one we will visit regularly.

Waited 45 mins for food and only after enquiring they say they “lost the docket” and had to wait again for it to be made. One hour and fifteen mins later…. Received some food. No the service you expect for $50 per head.

Food quality was ultimately good however.

We would like to inform the owners that the Bar Manager "Bec" was such a pleasant, friendly and helpful staff member who made both our booking and dining experience memorable. The only suggestion we would have for the food on offer is that the salad needs to be a little more substantial. I opted for a low carb meal of grilled fish and salad. The salad consisted of iceberg lettuce, cucumber and tomato (no dressing). We also miss the salt and pepper squid that used to be on the menu.

Today I got served by a very handsome maybe for 40-year-old gentleman named Gavin he made the vibe awesome and has amazing customer service definitely recommend the oyster bedz Mandurah!

We had an amazing oyster. My favorite’s are Japanese and Kilpatrick. Thai taste not good because they put too much Fried Shallot alot instead of tomyum itself. The price is affordable.

Absolutely amazing food. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Loved every minute of being here. This will be our new local. Absolutely phenomenal service, food and drinks. Our cocktail wait person was so friendly and made my daughter the most amazing mocktail. My cocktails were so delicious thank you team. We will be back. Tempura Prawns were my favourite

We went to the new venture on Friday night and were very impressed with the hands on, actual hospitality offered by the manager & staff. Service is so important and they’ve got that in spades. They have two lots of happy hours which is always a good thing for checking out cocktail worthiness & that’s always a good draw card
The Oysters were highly praised by Mr ‘Man Of The House’ & our guest.
(I’m not an Oyster fan but there were other menu items on offer)
They’re feeling their way atm and have the freedom to adjust as circumstance demands & will have more options once the dividing wall is taken down and there’s more room to move. (Kitchen, bar, storage space etc)
I hope to see improved quality on house cocktail elements as they find their way. There was also solo live music playing on the night and no complaints there either.
There have been negative rumours about the start up on this Oysters Venue but they are false & egregious with a suspected sour grapes (by the prior lessees) goal to incite boycotting.
I wish them luck & if their management & staffs energy levels keep up, they should do well.

A friend and I spend a few hours down at the Oysterbedz late Friday afternoon, we ended up demolishing 24 oysters between the 2 of us, Garlic bread and a cauliflower salad, plus a few cheeky cocktails (more like 4 or so each) that were absolutely delicious ($10 cocktail happy hour between 5-6)
The oysters were fresh and delicious, we got 6 each of the fresh French and Alantic oysters and also 6 each of the Kilpatrick and grilled oysters

Well done to the staff you guys have great customer service, quick at making the cocktails and the food comes out super quick too even when it's busy

Highly recommended Oysterbedz

First time there with my sister and niece. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much for them to do. Food and cocktails amazing as was the atmosphere and the gentleman playing guitar and singing. Can't wait to go back.

What a disappointment today, we were looking forward to a nice lunch with friends and some quality oysters. After waiting an hour and a half and still no food we requested a refund and went next door. We were not the only patrons to do so. Great that they have extended the dining space but what’s the point if you don’t have the staff to feed the diners?

Oysters were second to none, really happy with beers on tap and spirits available. The guy and girls working the area are worth the visit. The music by Alex Wayne is well worth going. Will be back. Thank you for the food and service. Your venue will be in my revisits.
