Oxford Yard reviews
64Grt atmosphere, got brekafast this morn after just arriving from Ireland. What a place.real tasty and great coffee. Staff were super helpful and friendly.
I’ve been here twice now, the food it’s amazing, great spot in west Perth to have a quick breaky.
Seriously yummy banana bread and oat milk cafe here at the Oxford Yard. Small serve of the banana bread but what it lacked in size certainly made up for in flavour. Just saying!
At last someone knows how to cook mushrooms! And a mix of mushrooms too. The mushroom bruschetta was delicious.
Have gone previously and had a good experience when dining in, however today I walked up with my new puppy for a coffee and the barista and waitress were giving me attitude about ordering with a dog (he wasn’t jumping or barking or anything just sitting there). I offered to order from outside with him and give them my card or carry him in and order and they were very rude about it. Not a very pleasant experience, the other cafes on Oxford street are much more dog friendly and accomodating.
Oxford Yard never fails. Always delivers on quantity and quality! The coffee is one of the best around and the staff are always friendly.
Visited Oxford Yard on Sunday morning. The place was busy but we got the last table. We ordered pre-made food from the cabinet and I had Chicken Salad. Smoothies was refreshing, my coffee was good. Service was great. Staffs were awesome: friendly, quick to serve and clear the plate. I broke a water glass from the fridge (sorry). Someone quickly cleaned the broken pieces and another staff asked if I was okay, so sweet. We would go back when we’re in the area.
Edit: finally got to try the steak sanga. Recommended. Also, a couple of days later, the croque madame special. Yummy.
Our first visit back after 10 months overseas. Coffee is just as great as I remember. Strong latté (long Mac topped up) and a muffin.
Today I had the worst coffee there. But the worst of the worst was that the barista was thinking he made a good coffee
Love the service here, I've been coming here regularly for a while and everyone's always really friendly. The coffee's always consistent too. Would recommend to locals and anyone that just happens to be in the area.
I went there the other day for the first time and ordered their smoked salmon croissant. I wasn't happy with their dish, they could improve on their dish presentation. However, I did love their soy latte and their employees were friendly. The cafe is very pet-friendly.
Been coming here for years and it’s always been consistently great food and service. Unfortunately the last two visits have been awful. Last visit, one meal was missed from our order and the pulled pork was sitting in a pool of water, soaking the normally crispy potato rosti. Thought it was a one off so we came back today. Our order was missed completely, waited over 40 mins (staff were apologetic). Again the pulled pork was sitting in so much water, we had to soak it off the plate with napkins, the eggs florentine was smothered in far too much hollandaise and the bread under the smashed avo needed a steak knife to cut it.
So disappointing for a place we visited regularly and used to enjoy!
Stale carrot cake. Manager wouldn't give a refund said it was just Gluten Free. The cake tasted like it had been left uncovered in the fridge for 3 days. Manager is always grumpy.
There are lots of other cafes.
Great place with amazing Service.
Been going here for over 5 years now and must say that Brad is one of my all time favourites! His customer service is above exceptional and he always has a smile on his face! Oxford Yard is lucky to have such a great staff member!
I have unfortunately witnessed managers here, including the current one, Brad, make gross and inappropriate comments about young female customer's bodies. Have also had young colleagues verbalise having this negative experience here.
Recently took a friend to Oxford Yard for her birthday as it is one of my favourite places to go for breakfast due to the amazing service that I have always received from the Manager Brad, who never fails to welcome you and ensure your experience at Oxford Yard is up to standard. My friend said it was the best coffee and the food was awesome and the service we received from Brad who was attending to our table on this particular morning was to the highest standard she had come across in Perth! Oxford Yard from this great experience my friend had, she will be another regular and recommend you to all her friends.
Lovely food with generous portions, friendly staff and a happy sunny vibe. Thoroughly enjoyed our brunch today. There are seats indoors as well as a shady outdoor area which is dog friendly.
Nice atmosphere, seating in the sun.prices are reasonable and the food.the food was fantastic.vegan breakfast with poach eggs.absolutely gorgeous
Best breakfast I’ve eating this year! Loved the eggs florentine with bacon and side of mushrooms. Mmmmm crispy bacon
Haloumi with poached eggs. Unfortunately eggs were like golfballs but dish was tasty.
Had run out of fruit for fresh juices at 12pm.
Friendly service.
