Osaka Sushi Japanese Restaurant

Food was delicious but something was off, I vomited right after eating but not sure why. Miso soup tasted unusual. Staff were amazing. Inside my partner and I were non stop sweating from the heat, as there was no fan or aircon. Bathrooms were also disgusting, worse than train stations. Overall wouldn’t come here again.

The only good thing about this is the elastic bands holding the containers shut.needed some.

Ordered through uber eats where the rating was 4.6. …rubbish!
They called to say they didn't have avocado for the avo and prawn sushi.
Then I said ok do 2 tempura prawn sushi. I should have known when they said we don't have 2.
But then said oh yes we do. Not fresh made I take it.
I wish I could put photo here. The tempura prawn sushi roll arrived covered in orange pink mayo sauce and when we put just a finger in it to taste nearly burnt mouth off with level of spice. Chilli or cayenne pepper or something

Can't even eat it. And the tempura prawn is mushy.

It's in the bin and and I've turned in the bbq!

Next time I won't trust uber eats. I think that review is for the delivery not the food.

This is so bad. Fried fish had no fish inside just flour/batter, other meat taste unfresh. Rice and noodles were equally bad

Agedashi tofu was firm and Chinese style, Chicken skewers dry and tough, vegetable tempura burnt until inedible

Don't waste your money! It was such an insult to serve that food to a paying customer. I ordered the Salmon Sashimi Bowl and the Prawn Tempura for my Sunday late lunch.

The Salmon Sashimi has bone! And served with a few sad salad leaves without dressing. The Tamagoyaki was like a dried sponge. The rice drizzled with some kind of soya sauce that tasted like beef dripping. It was awful. Not to mention the long-grain rice they used.

The Prawn Tempura batter was almost as thick as my local fish & Chip Shop, and it was served with a squeeze of Mayo sprinkled with Chinese five-spice salt, not the Tempura dipping sauce.

It is so disappointing that people running a Japanese restaurant do not know or appreciate the principle of Japanese food.

The worst of all is. The food was served with attitude.

Half a menu available at 6pm? What?

This place used to be so great 10 years ago… what happened

Ordered with UberEats 3 sushi and 2 teryiaki. One of the sushi I think it wasn’t that fresh, the rice was really dry. The chicken teryiaki was definitely not what I was expecting, at least from what was in the picture. The rice was all stuck together and I didn’t like the taste of the chicken. Maybe it’s just me, but it didn’t taste as regular teryiaki at all. Sorry but overall it was just bad.

The salmon sashimi already off, before you served you never check? Even just smell it, it that really hard? Terrible quality.

Ordered 3 meals via Uber eats. All food was cold, rice was hard and overcooked and katsu chicken was almost burnt to a crisop. Disapointing.

I wish I read reviews before I ordered Bento Box and Vegetable Spring Rolls. Terrible food, overcooked, dry, very small servings, the vegetable spring rolls are a mush of a scraping of something inside the tiniest spring rolls I have ever seen. Worst food ever, Osaka Sushi Japanese food NOT recommended

Terrible food!
We ordered 3 Dishes and Sides.

The food looked awful from the start and it didn't get better.

We ordered an Chicken Udon that was Disgusting, Dry and Overly Spicy to the point where it was inedible.
Not to mention the presentation was awful.

Then there was the Chicken Bento was disgusting, Greasy and Cold.

The packaging of the overall food was terrible and it was leaking all over the bag.

They also didn't include the Miso Soup we ordered and paid for.

I honestly cannot believe this is a Japanese Restaurant.
This was without a shadow of a doubt, the most disappoint and shameful.

Never ordering here again.
Save your money and order somewhere else, this place is just not worth it.

What rubbish are the owner berry just only worth 300? Doggy person. I did a $300 deposit to my host; however, he didn’t return the $300 deposit to me when I leave his house.can not believe u r so cheap.ur business is as dishonest as your people, don't spend here!

One of the worst restaurants in Vic Park with terrible service and management. Steer clear from it.

I ordered three bentos tonight thru Menulog, one rice is to dry, one rice is mash, sushi itself half dry rice half normally, chicken katsu is thin and few slices has even no chicken meat in it at all, chicken karage are very dry as well…to be honest, I have never had such bad food experience before, I’m not a fussy eater at all but I cannot stand this kind of quality of food at all! To sum up this restaurant review is only one word I can give, which is “Terrible”!

I ordered a bento box from doordash. The rice is hard and not hot it seems this was cooked early in the morning or yesterday. The package was totally different from the photo. Salad is so small and so wet. And there was no scullery

Mess up a simple order of salmon teriyaki and gave me chicken instead. Couldn’t eat the chicken because I was pescatarian, what the point of me ordering a main meal from Deliveroo with some sides and all I wanted was just the main?

Used to be very good and decent food. Value for money. We believe it is been sold now and under new management. Foods are not good anymore terrible in fact. It is like the chef or cook doesn't care anymore. It is sad. You have other option around the area, there are plenty of japanese in Vic Park. We definately won't come back as the food was really bad. We didn't finish the meal as there were really bad. Hopefully they can improve otherwise not sure if they will suvive with the current quaility.

The Tori Karage Bento and the Tori Karage are both yummy! However, I don't see the value of the Bento added as its a few pieces of not so fresh lettuce and 2 pieces of sushi that look the same! What was the most disappointing and actually was INEDIBLE was the TERIYAKI BEEF! IT WAS EXTREMELY OVERCOOKED AND TOUGH! To make matters worse there was less than 100gms as well! I feel if I had eaten in, I would have demanded a refund! I would strongly recommend to NEVER order this one!

Perfect for takeaways! I think they could just improve their waiting times. I see some low ratings, but to be fair the food has really good quality, tastes really good and is fresh. $10.50 for a bento box
