Orthodox Church Evangelismos

Hope to return one day. I miss Australia, my home, and dear Father Emmanuel. If you live in Perth, Thursday night Father E does a Bible study class. More like a talk. It's nectar to the ears ~ food for the soul.

Found Orthodoxy 6 months ago. Looked for a Church and visited the Saturday English service. Humble, genuine and dedicated priest. Warm and loving community, and we felt very welcome as non-Greeks. Absolutely beautiful Church. Highly recommend for new comers.

I came to evangelismos when I was in a very dark and desperate place seeking help and spiritual guidance. With Gods help, I sought and I found. Blessed to call this church home, it's flock my family, and to have found an authentic spiritual father in Fr Emmanuel who has helped me so so much, beyond any expectations I had Glory to God

This is truly home for the person sincerely seeking God’s kingdom, historical and spiritual truth. The original Christian faith, what is called the orthodox faith (right and original worship) has changed my life and my person. Here everyone struggles together and walks with God as He changes us along the journey. This is the cure to the world’s madness and humanity’s illness. God bless and many thanks to the clergy here who are never self-seeking and true to their calling to care for God’s people.

The Church is pretty picturesque inside and watching Greek weddings/baptisms is lovely too. The Priest I found always has a friendly and welcoming disposition. It's always great that there is an English interpretation.

Spiritual place great for someone who spends a lot of time researching religion's or religious beliefs.
