Useless. Trying to talk to lady but other guy on shift felt compelled to finish his personal conversation. All whilst having his head in his phone sitting in his pirimormis.

The lady at that store is so nice. I don't know her name but she is for sure Nepalese. I had a good experience there.

Poor Service…. Forcefully tried to upsell, lied, provided wrong and incomplete information; when confronted The Manager (Girl) refused to provide device and said its out of stock… the same device was in-stock few minutes back and till they weren’t confronted!

The most rude, arrogant, disrespectful manager I have ever seen in my life. Not sure how she bacame one cause the other workers are much better at communicating and they are actually trying to help you. The manager on the other hand is completely self absorbed.

Went into this store with only 30mins till closing. Great, friendly service. Very happy to help us join a new plan and upgrade our phone. Answered all of our questions with ease. Highly recommend!

The manager was quick and efficient, running the store well and providing good customer service. The staff on the other hand need better communications skills and possibly training.

Absolutely terrible service by one of the staff members. He was clueless and completely disregarded what I came in for. I had questions about NBN and he just told me to call NBN CO then proceeded to try and sign me up. I came in prepared to sign up to a new plan but after dealing with him, I just went to the Vodafone next door where I actually had a proper conversation and had my questions answered.

The manager at this place is terrible, she is not fit to be in the store as sweeper and how is she given the role of manger I doubt.
I hope Optus as company cares really for their customers need to take action. However, of late Optus as company has grown so big that they can do away any kind of treatment they think is right towards the customers.

My prepaid SIM CAR buy from KMART can’t verify, and I hoped the staff help me. She said because I didn’t buy with her, reject my ask.
I recommend VODAPHONE, their staff change prepaid sim by themselves.

I had the most TERRIBLE experience at this place that I went straight to Vodafone afterwards and switched service providers then and there. The manager, who looks like a high school dropout, is the rudest, most disrespectful, and inadequate person I have ever had the displeasure of meeting.

I went over to Optus hoping to get a new SIM replacement, the wait just for a staff member to see me was about 30 minutes itself. Finally, a young Asian man came over and I told him I needed a new SIM card. He told me he can’t access the system that has my account without his manager so he asked if I could wait for about 10 minutes. I said yes but asked if I could come back in about 30 minutes. He said no and quote, “my manager isn’t supposed to be working today but she’s around. ”

I waited for another 30 minutes alongside with 4 other people. Finally, the manager walks in, behaving like a spoilt teenager and complaining to other staff members about having to deal with work when she isn’t supposed to be working. The manager, Asian man, and other Indian girl staff member are all just standing around, chatting whilst the CUSTOMERS are waiting for these clowns to start doing their jobs.

After some time, the Asian man finally tells his manager that he needs her to help me with my SIM replacement to which the manager replies (and I quote), “I’m not doing it! I’m not working today. ” The man says “Ok, I’ll tell the customer that, ” and just comes over and tells me to come in tomorrow because his manager can’t do it.

Why was she even there then if she wasn’t supposed to be working? I am pursuing this issue with Optus further because this is exactly the kind of service you might see in an example in business school of how NOT to treat your customers.

3 of the other people I saw at Optus were also at Vodafone afterwards with me, switching service providers. We all agreed that manager deserves to be fired ASAP. Just goes to show how terrible Optus Belmont customer service is. Where did they even find that manager person? Let alone give her the position of managing this store? A complete joke!

Dishonest, rude and will rip you off! Don’t come here! I came in to get an upgrade on a phone and explained I was in a tight financial situation and required the lowest package/no perks etc. The lady serving me assured me only $20 plus $5 for a watch would be added to my plan. I received my new bill 6 days later and she lied - straight up lied! My bill shows an extra $125 per month. Furthermore the manager refused to do a data transfer after I signed the contract and literally yelled at me that I was ungrateful and to get out. I’ve never been treated so rudely in my entire life! I have since contacted Optus upper management and am filing a formal complaint against the two women who served me on this day with Commission of Fair Trading and Ombudsman. Please don’t go here it’s a horrible store with people who have no ethics and certainly no integrity. I hope Karma catches up to these two. Absolutely disgraceful women.

Had a very good customer experience. Shop was quite busy but the young man was very polite & acknowledged those of us waiting resulting in less of a wait & a good old fashioned customer service experience. Don't remember his name but was refreshing to see him work well.

Probably the most unhelpful staff in the world.
The staff flatly refused to give any help or assistance in with an OPTUS SIM card.

The manager is so rude and she does things against Australian consumer law. If you want good experience with Optus I highly recommend you to go elsewhere.

I went this store to buy iPhone 13pro with sim plan, the cheapest plan they quoted me was $130 and I asked them if they have under $120 they said no so I decided to get $130 the cheapest plan. They gave me the phone and all the accessories Bluetooth and all. Then I went home and checked the price online the same plan was $116 something, what they have done is they have put all the extra accessory charges on monthly plan which I had no idea.

Then the next day I took all the sealed accessories to the store to return them but the manager denied to accept it, she asked me why didn’t I check online before come to the store, could you believe this? I swear to God this is what happened.

Theu can't offer the same deal as you get online and is often higher than online, also sales agent try to sell accessories that you don't need.
