Optimal Pharmacy Plus

I was surprised by a lot of negative reviews of this pharmacy. Maybe the old management fault. I received good customer service today.

I have been a customwr here for a few years now and am honestly surprised by the number of negative reviews here. My experience has been nothing but good and I even decided to check another couple of pharmacists for prices on a prescription I needed a few weeks ago after seeing the reviews here about how expensive this place is but the other two pharmacies were more expensive so I ended up back here anyway. I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad customer service experience here. All the staff are lovely and the pharmacist Brian in particular is really helpful. We frequently call for advice around various issues and he always takes the time to listen properly and offer practical, thoughtful advice. He has helped us work out problems and out our mind at ease on a number of occasions and always seems happy to do so. I like the fact that I can order my prescription refills through an app and with this system they keep my prescriptions on file for me (I used to chronically lose mine which was a big problem and this has helped a lot). I also really appreciate the rewards program here because it seems to add up quite quickly and I frequently get a decent discount on my purchases with this. Just last night, I got $13 off.

The public should be aware that these low life grubs break open face masks and sell them individually and charge 4 times their price for a box during lock down
Don't support these people and make a stand against them and others that make $$$ during this

Very unprofessional, wanted to buy face masks, on the counter there is ten packs for $15, needed masks packed properly (not in a chemist bag) so choose a 50 pack for $40, when my bag was unpacked I could see that the box was a little ripped so checked inside, didn’t seem full, so funnily enough there was only 40 masks, and a few dead bugs, rang chemist, they didn’t seem to care, so went straight back to the shop, explaining to him this is very bad, I needed clean masks, not a box that has been tampered with, and preferred to have my money back, he states he cannot give money back on masks, even though they were sold to me dirty, no opology, nothing, so had to accept another box which was full and clean, the ten packs on the counter are not safe to buy, they are a money making scheme, and it should be stopped, I’m going to look a little closer into this

As a new customer to Optimal Pharmacy Dianella, I can only give a most glowing report. I have complex medical needs and the pharmacists and staff have been extremely helpful in my transitioning from another pharmacy to theirs when I recently moved. My daughter has been dealing with this pharmacy for years and highly recommended them.

Charges are very excessive for most items - $22 at Optimal, $12 at ChemWarehouse - avoid Optimal if possible

My mother had come out of hospital with so many medications and we were very confused. We went to the pharmacist and she patiently went through every drug and explained what is was for. We even started a webster pack to keep everything organised. The pharmacist was so helpful. Liz and Taylor were an amazing help. Thankyou both so much.

The staff are very helpful and friendly. The pharmacist went out of her way to find a medication of mine that was not available. I will be going there again.

Regular cost of prescription elsewhere is $6.49.
Cost of same prescription at Optimal Pharmacy Plus Dianella is $17.60! Almost 3 times as much! Optimal Pharmacy Plus do not have an website that allows for complaint.

Very slow service for how busy they are. Also often are out of various medication. A last resort chemist only.

I have always had goid service and nice staff when I've visited here.

Not to trust!
After being loyal clients for years - we realised that our trust was given to the wrong Pharmacy. My wife needed carbimazole tablets. The price this Pharmacy wanted us to pay was $55. They didn't want to consider our concession card, saying that these tablets weren't covered. We ended up buying the same tablets in another Pharmacy for $6.40. So disappointing!

Unreliable and unprofessional!
I was used to leave at Optimal Pharmacy in Dianella, my prescription for an important tablet, to make sure it was available every month. I went there as usual, but it was out of stock. The pharmacist assured me that it would have been available the week after, which didn't happen. At that point I was completely left with no tablets.
The issue is that this Pharmacy, couldn't be bothered to inform me or the Doctor of the prolonged shortage. I could have serious consequences if the tablet wasn't immediately available.
Luckily, I ended up buying the tablets at other pharmacy, with just 3 phone calls made by the efficient pharmacist of the second pharmacy, and they managed to have the tablets delivered at no extra cost!
I also realised that Optimal Pharmacy overcharged me every month for years! What a shame!

Love the staff at this pharmacy. The pharmacist was so helpful. She listened to my problem and treated me with respect. The other girls are so pleasant. It is a joy to go there. I am always greeted warmly and looked after well

Guys beware, very strange prices. I bought a pack of Pariet which I am using for years & usual price is $14 and they ask me to pay $25. After saying that I am using this for years and paying $14 then she checked with pharmacist and said ok you can pay $16.: (: (
It did not make sense. So if you do not know the prices then beware.
