The staff are very welcoming and they ask if you'd like a tea or a coffee when you come in for your appointment.

They're very helpful with hair questions.

Jasmin was amazing with my hair. Went there with a terrible haircut and Jasmin did a great job fixing it up. Very happy with the results. Highly recommended.

I had my colour done today with the amazing Zara and I absolutely love it. The second I walked in the door I felt so welcomed by all the girls. Zara talked to me about what would work best in my hair and she nailed the colour. I’m so happy with it. I will definitely be back and would highly recommend to anyone who wants amazing hair. I have very curly hair that had been cut badly in two hair salons previously. Chantelle knew exactly how to bring my shape back and also did an absolutely AMAZING job with my colour. She is a true professional! Boy, am I glad that my quest for a curly hair specialist in Perth is over. Thanks One Hair Salon, I’ll be back for sure.

Soooo expensive, I was blown away at the quote. Most subi salons charge 220/240 for a half head of foils, olaplex, toner and blow dry included. I was quoted $165 + 40 for toner, 40 for root shadow, 59 for olaplex and 79 for a blow dry. Disappointed that most of the work (root shadow, toner and cut) was done by a 1st year apprentice, and throughout I had 3 people work on my hair (not ideal with covid). I get the same for much less elsewhere and have the senior colourist working on my hair from start to finish.

I went to ONE on Friday (26/6) for a consultation and all the girls I spoke to were so lovely. They were pleasant to talk with and they made me feel very comfortable.

I really enjoyed my experience at ONE. Tiah looked after me and I found her cheery, personable, and down to earth. I’m not a hugely chatty person when I’m at the hairdressers, and Tiah struck the balance between light small talk and comfortable silence. Tiah is very knowledgeable and informs her clients in a clear and concise manner. I am so far pleased with the results of my Cezzane smoothing treatment and can’t wait to see how my hair looks in a few weeks after it’s settled. I would definitely return to this comfortable and stylish salon. Also thanks to Georgia for the pleasant chat and the trim!

I have been coming to One for a while now and have been through some fairly radical hair transformations in this time. Not only has Emily done an amazing job achieving a beautifully natural balayage in my hair, but she's also done very extreme high fashion colours using almost every colour of the rainbow. The fact that she can do such different looks so incredibly well is a true testament to her skill as a hair artist. She is always completely honest with me about my expected results with my desired looks and always ensuring that with all of the work I have done, my hair is kept as healthy as possible. I have never left the salon feeling any less than 110% thrilled with my hair results. Emily is passionate about what she does and it shows in the end results of her work.

After a very bad experience in a hair salon, there was a lot of work to do with my hair that was in a really bad way. Monique understood what I wanted, I am really happy with this result.
And besides, they're asking you a lot of questions to be sure to satisfy yourself

Got my hair cut and coloured by Meg and she did a wonderfull job! She listened to what I wanted, advised accordingly and I left the salon incredibly hair with my new do! Would recommend her highly and will certainily be back.

I trust my hair only them! The place is a bit costly but it honestly worth it especially when it comes to brunette to blond transactions

I was seeing a great hairdresser here who helped me achieve the blonde results I was looking for, she then relocated back to the UK and the last couple of appointments with a new hairdresser have been really disappointing. Feel like I am back to square one and have wasted my money.

I tried this salon for the first time recently and had my colour done with Meg! She was great knew exactly what I wanted and my colour is perfect! Everyone was so friendly - lovely experience. So glad i found a great salon! Thanks girls:)

I have been trying to get my hair to the desired blonde for almost 2 years now. After doing some research and seeing great reviews, i decided to book in with One Subiaco, seeing as they are the "blonde specialists. " Even tho i had explained how long my hair was, i was booked in for an appointment at 5pm on a week night. My hair was no where near the blonde i had explained i was going for, the lady was closing up and only finished with a blow dry (that she was rushing so quick to finish) she then took some after photo's on my phone. You could clearly see a massive hair dye stain on my jacket that will not come out, but she did not say anything until i was in the car looking at the photos. My hair had never felt so unhealthy and for a price of almost $450, i will NOT be recommending or returning.

Curly Girls of Perth give this place a shot! Its worth it, their hairdresser really knows what she is doing. This is 100% the best hair cut I have ever gotten and i am super fussy.
I never used to get my hair cut, just would do it myself but I was recommend to give One Subiaco a shot by a friend and i'm glad i did. Can pass on this recommendation as legit.
