Order chicken Udon soop with other meal. Just be careful when you order their soups. Ours had a insect in it. Got refunded but don’t want to visit again.

One of the best neighbourhood Japanese outlet in Perth. Plenty to choose from the menu and you are able to customise your set meals. The service is also very quick. The QR code self ordering and payment make it very a very convenient dining experience.

We have been regular customers of Ohnamiya Applecross for over 15 years now. Food has always been great and reasonably priced. Service is friendly and good too. I'd definitely recommend Ohnamiya for great Japanese food in Perth.

Worst delivery experience I ever ordered at applecross. The food was cold, and the sauce was already on the outside box when the delivery guy handed it to me. There was no warm bag or cutlery, just a bag of leaked soy sauce, which was sticky and disgusting. My order is large, but it's much smaller than what I ate in the store.

Been here a few times and usually pretty good. The last time I had a takeaway and they sent me home with the wrong bag. On my return to change bags little apologies and no recompense. Poor customer relations

Dined in on a Friday night. Ordered a bento box and a donburi. 30 min wait for very average food. The lacquer boxes disguise very simple food.

Very bad experience. Just average food, rude service and forever waiting time. Customers came after me were served with food while I am still waiting

Authentic Japanese cuisine at affordable places. We had 4 sets and an extra bowl of rice for 3 adults and 2 kids and all of us were full and satisfied when we're done. It comes down to just slightly more than $10 per pax.
We've been to the food joint at Myaree and have no qualms popping by here cause of our craving. Ohnamiya didn't disappoint. The Myaree store is bigger and has more seating, but is busier of the two. Ambience wise both are great. These will be one of our regular go-tos to satisfy our Japan cravings for sure!

Been here probably 50+ times. Fantastic spot for authentic and generous Japanese. Katsu Chicken Curry is amazing. As is their speed of service. Do yourself a favour and try this place.

The food is delicious and the price is very competitive and though affordable.
We tried the soups and rice dishes. They are fantastic.
The place is nicely decorated and free green tea.

Ordered meal through UBER. Put in order notes some instructions regarding dietary requirements (eg.no batter on fish). Received a call from restaurant stating they couldn't do that, basically telling me to cancel the order or take it how it comes.
Cancelled the order and certainly WON'T be ordering from OHNAMIYA again.

The food is quite reliable and very affordable. I've probably been here about 50 times. Particular stand outs for me are the chicken katsu curry and the kaarage chicken rice box.

We had salmon don, teriyaki don, beef udon, curry katsu chicken, soft shell crab maki and karage chicken as a side. Whole bill comes up to $67 which is reasonable. The place is bustling with takeaways and dine in. For a quick simple weekday dinner, come try out this no frill japanese restaurant at Applecross which also has anothrr branch at myaree.

$24 is enough to feed half a child.

Edit: Upon review due to the current inflation. $24 can feed half a colony of ants.

Beautiful, freshly made food served by friendly staff. Although it was busy, there was a constant flow of customers coming and going. Well worth a visit or two.

Got dinner from here last night via Uber eats and it was terrible.
Small serve of teriyaki chicken, Tofu and egg was on a sauce which had turned to gel. Not tasty

Very nice food in summertime & sunny winters day needs more setting areas. Overall very good
