Ocean View Fish & Chips

Little Fish and Chips take away restaurant for food to enjoy on the beach. Fish is fresh and chips are crispy. Staff are polite. Prices are quite high for what you get but as the location is central to Cottesloe beach its to be expected. The Squid rings are really good.

Don't be fooled by the appearance of this business. They serve some of the best fish and chips We've ever had. Large fish pieces, light and crispy batter, calamari tender. Chips crisp not soggy. Sat at a picnic table across the road and watched the sunset. Awesome!

Horrible, the smell is awful when you go in, the oil hasn't been changed for at least 1-2 weeks, the fish and fries taste like oil in addition to a small portion of sauce $2, to flee

I have had fish and chips world wide and this has to be the worst quality of food I’ve ever eaten, genuinely shouldn’t be allowed to sell food

They skip numbers and overall slow. The fish and chips is extremely oily and they genuinely don’t care about hygiene the place is filthy, there is no chance they would pass a food and health inspection

Don’t let the heavily dated exterior and interior throw you off. We got the battered snapper, calamari, prawn cutlets, crab sticks, and chips. Everything was super crispy, tasty, and good quality. Only negative thing was that we didn’t get a slice of lemon. Would definitely recommend.

The Pack for 1 and the fish and chips pack were very decent in size. The food was all very oily. Would be nice with some fresh slices of lemon. However it was ok for a quick and easy beach lunch and we were able to go across the road and eat our fish and chip looking over the ocean.

We were hesitant at first as we walked past other fancy looking fish&chips near the beach on the way there and this was the most old fashioned looking one.
The fish and chips was great and huge. We shared one snapper and chips (huge serve) + 6 calamari rings between two adults and a child and it was enough and delicious. Loved it.

The best fish and chips EVER! I'm from Sydney and I was so shocked how big the serving is here. Delicious snapper and it's huge! Fresh fish and fresh chips, struggled to finish it. Will definitely come back when i'm back in Perth:)

Bought the “pack for 1”, 2x tartare sauce & a bottle of soft drink. Opened the box to find a large serve, but unfortunately everything was very oily, and the fish was dry (with barely any flavour) so didn’t enjoy & half went in the bin. Disappointing. Pineapple fritter & calamari were average. They didn’t tell me I needed to grab the sauce (thought would be in the box), so had to go back to the store & get them. Soft drinks are pricey. Very curt service (not welcoming or helpful). Will go elsewhere next time.

Overraded! I should've followed my instincts when I entered the place, there was a strong smell of old oil. Which also explains the taste of burned oil. The fish and chips were extremely greasy, I mean the oil was still dripping of the fish. Decent amount of unsalted chips, personally enough for 2 people,

Fish and chips how they should be. Batter is thin, crispy and delicious. Beautifully fresh fish. One the best fish chips I’ve ever had.

Most amazing staff and excellent food and customer service would recommend always eating there at a hot summer beach day.

Omg Ocean View fish and chips at cottersloe absolute yum do yourself a favour if you are in cottersloe try this small shop price's are good the owners new how to do it right friendly service also has a icecream shop as well thanks for a delicious lunch

Very high quality seafood. Had the platter for 1, fish was beautifully battered, light, not greasy, chips were perfect and the calamari was super tender. Would 100% go back again. Can't go wrong for some beach front fish and chips! Easily one of the best fish and chips in my life. Portions are very generous too, the fish was massive!

Went in for a large chips, coke and ketchup and was told I couldn’t buy chips on their own. Had to buy an item to accompany the chips. Ended up buying Calamari (cheapest thing on menu) just to get the chips which I didn’t eat. Bizarre experience.

This family friendly fish & chips shop is probably the best in Perth. Located opposite Cottesloe beach - ideal for a family picnic in the park. Super tasty snapper & chips & also icecream. Well priced. Amazing service; the staff work as a great team & our order was served so quickly.
