I had an Independent Medical Assessment for my Worker's Compensation Case, and from my experience, the Receptionists at OccuMED Redcliffe, were very friendly and professional. The Medical Centre was clean and well organised. My allocated Physician, Dr Ming Guo Li, was very knowledgeable, kind, professional, and thorough. He listened and noted everything we discussed patiently, answered all my questions, and explained the whole process from start to finish.
Highly Recommended.:)

AVOID AVOID. Extremely unprofessional DR. Passed all my medical told I had passed and got stuck on a doctor who said I should be on different medication for a condition treated with a treatment he didn't agree with after it was explained nothing else worked. A letter was supplied from my doctor which should have cleared me.

I attended for a basic employer medical. The reception staff, urinalysis technician and doctor were all efficient and polite.
I received no prior notification of the need to provide a urine sample so I had to drink water and wait around for a while - had I known previously I could have provided a sample immediately. Overall was a good experience.

Appalling. Reception, (who are rude), got my forms wrong and they tried to commence a full pre employment medical for a job I've done for over a decade. I was sent for something completely different. The Dr was insisting due to the forms having a box ticked, which I did not do. I said no, I do not consent and will not consent. It's called informed consent and they didn't have it.
I won't return. My employer is yet to comment.

The staffs are very friendly, Isaac and all the medical assessment team and the doctor very helpful and friendly make me relax and not nervous. All the progress are very smooth, very highly recommended

Would give 0 stars if i could i waited an hour before being seen i advised staff i was making a quick phone call. I was out for 60 second then i was advised 2 more people went ahead of me. The 3 reception staff clearly did care and said you shouldn't of gone outside. It has been the worst medical site i have attended reception staff were apalling. If possible avoid like the plage. Also not enough parking.

From my experience, from the receptionists to the nurse and doctor I had to see were lovely. It was extremely busy but at no point did I feel rushed, I had great chats with the nurse and was in and out pretty quick considering how busy they were. I'm writing this review because all the current ones made me really anxious before my appointment and, at least from my point of view, were wrong.

I had no issues. Everyone was really nice. I had a lot of fun. A lot he doctors were really nice. I was happy and it just have made them happy

As others have already mentioned, avoid this place and avoid Dr Mingguo Li. This "doctor" would have to be the most arrogant medical examiner I have come across. Despite providing at his very own request medical reports and files from my GP stating I am absolutely fit for the role (been doing the same role for the previous 2 years!) I have been denied a new job and haven't even been given a reason. And then there is his demeanour, talking down to you, barking orders etc. All along with bad english and poor interpretation skills which translate into his written report (apparently I have voices in my head, as he stated!?). I would give this place 0 stars if possible.

Waited an hour and a half to be seen. Seemed like the workers didnt want to be there.

The doctor there refused to pass me due to a rectified back issue that was cleared by both my GP and my Surgeon. This was after he got me to do a bunch of exercises to prove I was good to go. He also talks to you like you're a child and always sounded angry.

If your prospective employers want to send you here, request that you be sent somewhere else. Pay for a different one if you have to.

Had a medical here everything went fine then had to get the sign off by the Dr (Ong) who was extremely rude from the get go. He spoke diwn to me and barked orders at me like I was in school causing me to loose the position that was almost mine, he wouldn't sign off on my medical owing to his bad temper! I have complained to the Medical Practioner who has been very unhelpful. No stars would have been preferable. Avoid if possible.

Rude staff with no understanding of chronic conditions and do not take your feelings into account. The result of this appointment could likely result in me losing my job, so I have to see an independent review. Do not pay for an assessment here, they will only do what your workplace wants, they don't listen to you and have no medical knowledge.

Rude staff and nearly 3 hours for a medical, they never take this long would not recommend coming here at all disgrace!

I totally agree with the review below my experience was just the same, what a disgrace! Hang your head doctor! !

Do not go to this facility or book an appointment with dr Ming guo Li
He is an arrogant, rude doctor who treats clients with disrespect. After 42 years I have been discriminated against by this doctor after many previous medical examinations to secure positions. He will talk to you like you’re worthless garbage & if you reply will claim you’re threatening & aggressive to him!
