Obsessions Dancewear and Accessories

Absolutely poor customer service.
Went in yesterday for help with sizing charts for dance shoe conversions, and not only did it take multiple attempts to get her attention (she was more interested in being on her computer) she then implied I was stupid for not being able to read the conversion chart on Capezio’s website and wouldn’t even suggest or recommend suitable shoes for her to try on in store. Unfriendly, unapproachable and definitely did not value my business. Will not return there.

My wife went into the shop on the weekend and had a horrible experience. Although some of the stuff is nice, the owner was very abrupt, rude and made unnecessary comments regarding her size and ability, making the experience very unpleasant. My wife is a teacher and used to recommend this store to her students but will now be suggesting other places where her dancers will be treated as equal and with respect. Incredibly disappointed.

Rushed service. Store owner too busy to help me find what we were looking for. Brought what she said was the right thing, ended up going to a different dance shop to get the right thing.

They have a lot of pretty dance costumes. I've only purchased shoes so far. They offer discounts for local dance club which is nice.
A little inconvenient (for me) about the opening times though.

This was the most amazing service ever. Alli was so helpful and orovided is with great service and advice! Recommend to anyone!

Worst customer service I have ever had the misfortune to experience. Wouldn't even give this store one star.

A 6 week saga that started with the owner of the store supposedly fitting my teen and selling my husband a pair of tap shoes for her which were so big she could step out of them and told him my child could wear 2 pairs of socks and fill them with cotton wool! This is for a teen who is doing gold star medal.

Another much more helpful staff member refitted my girl on a return visit and we found that the correct size she needed was 1.5 sizes smaller. Obviously just wanted to get the too big shoes moved off her shelf quickly and my hubby was the sucker she found that day.

We then find that a brand of jazz shoes we have paid for on order after a 2.5 week wait (when we were assured it would be a week maximum as they were urgent), is now not available. The owner initially refuses me a refund as she claims I "changed my mind" and she had taken the liberty to order an inferior brand for me instead without even checking with me first. It's not a change of mind you couldn't provide me what I paid for.

The owner advised me she been in this business for thirty years and knows what she is doing, however this only made the lack of product knowledge and care in fitting my child and assisting a proud but clueless dance Dad, and complete lack of customer service centre more appalling. Also when fitting a shoe, I think it is normal procedure to actually get down on the ground, have a look and a feel of how the shoe actually fits on the persons foot. Just glancing over is not really effective.

Buyer beware, this place is dreadful.
