NP Grower Market Morley reviews
14Its Big Grocery store. Have alot of Varieties Food. If you want to Cook Asian food. This the place Good to go
Crowded disorganised unfriendly unhelpful customer service.
Never any trolleys available, but no one seems to care.
Butcher and vegie ladies come over very rude and always talk back in Vietnamese.
Lady Owner makes an effort to be friendly and helpful.
Used to spend a lot of money there weekly but disappointed too many times.
Stopped going there
The most rude people I have ever come across. You get ignored in the butcher section unless you are from their culture.
The rest of the staff are not much better. I won’t be going back.
The quality of fruit & veg and the butcher are far better than across the road. The store is clean and tidy with a good selection of products, but the staff are required more training in terms of their attitude and understanding of customer service.
Coming from a Chinese background, I don't expect much customer service from an Asian grocery store, but the chubby short Asian lady with heavy make-up (I assume she is the manager), her rudeness is beyond the third-world country standard.
Last weekend I bought a bag of Japanese Bonito Flakes. The tag shows $4.99 on the shelf, but I got charged $6.25 at the checkout. The cashier and I went back to the shelf and checked the price. The $4.99 is for the 25g pack, not the 35g pack I had. The staff put the wrong tag on the shelf as the shop only has 35mg available.
In this scenario, there are only three options to solve the issue.
1. The customer gets the product for free, like the major supermarket policy. (Which I don't expect from a local grocery store)
2. Apologise to the customer and ask if they are happy to keep the item.
3. Apologise to the customer and offer a refund.
Instead of solving the issue. The manager escalated the situation by giving me a "lecture" on how I should read the small print on the tag! Staff do make mistakes! With no word of apology. Her tone and attitude were abrupt to almost abusive.
I would also like to mention my previous encounter with her. She demanded to check my empty shopping bags at the checkout just to excise her authority. I hope I have made her day by building up her self-worth.
Really fresh fruit &vegetables and alot of Asian grocery products. Great place to shop, prices are very reasonable.
They sold me a rotten tomatoes. Very disappointed. Should have gone to MCQ in Coventry village better quality and fresh
Can get a variety of Asian food stuff and vegetables. Check your bill after paying. A couple of times we were charged for items we did not purchase.
I bought could noodles 2 times from them, then the noodles got mould both times before more than 1 week from expire date. One day, I found that the noodles has mould in a shelf in the shop. I think not enough to keep cool for chilled items. I buy noodles every week for my business but never happened that from MCQ.
Great choice of Asian foods and a very reasonably priced meat. We used to buy fruit and vegetables here but now we go to Spudshed for these as it's cheaper
One of my favourite shopping spots in Morley. Great prices in their fruit and vegetables plus an excellent array of general grocery items too. Lots of hard to find items, Asian sweets and a good butcher too.
Brought logan and fresh coconut however both was bad, coconut juice was sour and the logan tastee bitter
Clean, bright with lots of different varieties of goods but not the cheapest compare to others, worth a visit.
