Fantastic service and advice. Brought my old Victa 20” cylinder mower in for a service and blade sharpening and it’s purring now. Very happy customer.

Recently, I made a purchase at Northern Lawnmower & Chainsaw Specialists, and I must commend David for his exceptional service. He was knowledgeable and ensured I made the right choice. The lawnmower I bought not only met but exceeded my expectations. It not only made my lawn care chores more effortless but also significantly enhanced the final result. Highly recommend!

Terrible service. Brought back a Cub Cadet zero turn mower that I had purchased from them that had an oil leak. I showed them pictures of the oil on the ground and the leak. After a week they told me the leak didnt exist. I took it home and it continued to leak. I rang them and they said I could bring it back in a couple of months. They suggested I might like to try another dealer. I did so and they fixed the problem on the spot and did adjustments that should have been done pre delivery.

I have used Northern Lawnmowers twice in the last couple of years and been satisfied on both occasions. First time was to replace the blades which was straight forward and the mower was ready to be picked up within 2 hours. The second time 2 months ago was a major service after accidently putting 2 stroke fuel in the 4 stroke engine. I was very pleased with the customer service and most importantly the workmanship. I would recommend Northern Lawnmowers and chainsaw specialists.

They can't get parts promptly, took 7 weeks. Staff seem to think this is fine. Better going somewhere else for repairs

Edit: The part was a Stihl multi-tool. My 2IC and I were in fact met with a very angry lawnmowing contractor who was also retrieving his cylinder after waiting 12 weeks. After retrieving our tool and taking it to Keogh's it was repaired in 2 weeks with minimal fuss.

I understand there were shipping delays at the time but its simply too long for a contractor to wait when there are other repair specialists around who had no such delays. I had to call to get updates, there was never an explanation from your "friendly" staff just a curt "we are waiting on parts". When pushed about a time frame you couldn't provide one, how is that helpful? Your staff developed an attitude when questioned on this and I dare say they were getting multiple calls a day from frustrated clients like myself. To be perfectly honest I would not of written this review had your staff been up-front and honest on the delays instead of keeping lips tight and getting upset when questioned. Good luck but I wont be coming back.

The guys sorted out my dads mower for him. Gave it a service and got it working again, its running like a dream! Cheers guys

Went to the store after requesting an item was told its there get there sorry just sold it.so order in part price went up $20 ok put down 50% deposit $40 go back when called and they want $45 for the rest of the deposit.they used to be honest but I wouldn't go back after this.

Would not recommend said they would have a look at my whipper so I brought it in they had a quick look towards the end of the day and said they would look more closely the next or so I thought. Took a $45 deposit nothing heard for a day or two so I phoned and nah mate not looking at it for two weeks. Eventually after two weeks and a further $26 was told all good but this wasn't the case had the same problem it went in with. Basically wasted my time, front of house needs to be a lot better would not use again have now purchased new unit elsewhere

They used to be a stihl dealer and now not one In sight. However they do another up there with Husqvarna.
Unfortunately not changing as all my equipment has batteries designed for Stihl. Have to find another dealer sorry.

Unfortunately had a terrible experience with this company. Took weeks for a repair to be completed, with no return phone call to explain the delay. I expressed my disappointment with their service and was told to "Disappear"

Forget going to large hardware chains expecting to get good advice when it comes to buying a 'whipper snipper'.

After trying to no avail to get informed help from one of these chains I decided to go to someone who could answer my questions.

Northern Lawnmower & Chainsaw Specialists were only too helpful to talk me through different brands & actually recommend a unit that suited my needs and budget.

They showed me how to start it & showed me all the features. They even showed me one to one how to load up the cutting cord.

I'm very happy with my Honda whipper snipper. I have all the support I need and that famous Honda reliability. It was very well priced when you consider generic 'never heard of brands' cost more at the big chains.

Do the right thing & support a local business where people actually know their products inside/out.

These guys have a huge range to choose from. Service is fantastic. The guys there were really friendly and helpful. Will return for sure!

My husband somehow managed to put a new lawn trimmer head on upside down on the trimmer and could not remove it. By some miracle the kind gentlemen of NLCS were able to fix the problem. Thank you very much!

Usually a 5 star review but recently one of the staff there I found quite curt and not overly interested in my problem or presenting a solution which is not good service. Most of the time they are great and extremely helpful, here's hoping this was a one off event.

Great place for your mowing needs. Service and advise was great. Wasn't much to choose from due to low COVID stock but I got what I needed. Got my new mower fuelled up, and put in my car by the staff so it was ready to use as soon as I got it home.

Bought my Cab Cadet ride on mower and Truyard chipper here with great satisfaction. Get professional service and strongly suggest buy here:)
