Our cat had been staying at another cattery for 13 years and unfortunately they recently shut down. We had the difficult task of trying to find a new cattery that met the same high standards as the old cattery and thankfully we were recommend to Northern Districts Cattery by a friend. The owners (Mary and Matt) are very friendly and welcoming - they managed to book in our cat at short notice and welcomed us to visit the cattery for a tour, to ensure that it met our standards. The cattery is very clean, well presented, has a homely feel and there are many different suite types to choose from. Drop off of our cat was stress free and not rushed (despite it being a busy drop off day) and our cat settled in quickly. During our cat's stay, Matt sent us some photos of our cat enjoying the sun in the outdoor area. Upon pick up, our cat was relaxed and it was evident that our cat enjoyed the stay. I highly recommend Northern Districts Cattery!

Our 2 cats stayed with Mary and Matt for around a month. The love they both have for animals is shown in the way they care. They will do anything possible to make sure the cats in their care are well looked after. Mary and Matt, we can not thank you enough. Sky and Bugs Bunny came home happy and we are sure they will miss you. We will be using your services again should the need arise.

Great place. Clean, tidy, friendly. Lots of options of different areas for the cats to stay eg the garden view suites, the penthouse or basic suites depending on budget. They will feed your cat whatever they normally have at home and let you bring in favourite toys too. The owners genuinely care about the cats that stay here.

Mary and May are very professional pet lovers. We would never take our furbabies anywhere else. Our furbabies have loved their holidays regularly over the past 12 years. We highly recommend Northern District Cattery.

Beautiful cattery, wonderful and caring staff who clearly have so much love for all animals. My cat is not the most social kitty but seeing her on livestream sleeping with her belly up and letting the staff pick her up just showed how relaxed she was there. Highly recommend. Was also very impressed that they stocked her special dietary food. Princess will be back whenever we go away.

I am really disappointed in NDC Northern Districts Cattery (cat hotel) I feel that the service we received was quite unprofessional.cats seemed miserable but R ecstatic 2 B home.

From the first step on to the premises, you can tell that everything and everyone working there is in and for the animals.

This is the second time we had our beautiful Birman boy, Simba with NDC and couldn't ask for a better service - the staff is always friendly and very accomodating; the place is always clean and with an welcoming ambience; wide range of food and top quality always matching Simba's dietary needs; and at the end of his stay our Simba always presents happy, content, well nourished; and nicely perfumed.

Thank you NDC. It makes such a diffrence knowing our beloved Simba is happy and well taken care of when he is not with us.

Without doubt we'll have you again in the future if necessary.

So good to have such a lovely, caring hotel for my cat Melinda to stay at, I was concerned about her being away from me while I was on holiday in the US, but with the staffs loving and skilled attention, she was safe, cared for and happy there, so I could enjoy my holiday without worrying. Mary and the girls at the Cattery were welcoming and easy to deal with right from the start. They have great facilities, the place was clean, they care about animals and we felt comfortable taking our cat here. They provide food and stock all of the brand's and flavors which was really helpful. Their prices are fair and aren't trying to rip you off. 10/10 Would recommend and will use again.
