Northbrook Farmstay reviews
20 This review is a few years too late but we’ve never forgotten about the kindness and hospitality of the hosts here! In November 2019 our car broke down between Kalbarri and Shark Bay and we were towed to Northbrook Farmstay where we stayed in a beautiful lodge awaiting a mechanic in the morning.
The mechanic came and went without fixing the car but the kind farm owner offered to have a look himself. Luckily for us he identified the problem and was able to fashion together a short term fix that enable us to drive to the Toyota garage in Geraldton. We were super grateful for this lovely farmstay and the comfort it provided during a stressful time! The short term fix proved so successful that the Toyota garage didn’t change it and we made it all the way back to Sydney.
We owe these guys one of the best experiences we’ve had and will forever be so grateful for the help they provided! We would highly recommend a stay here - the farm is lovely with great views and animals to see and the people are the absolute best!
The best campsite in Western Australia. Enough said. We stay here for 3D2N with 3-5 degree 40km/Hr wind overnight that made us a stronger person! Very nice place for sure 10/10 TOILETS ARE SUPER CLEAN. The field is also VERY clean! Trash bin is nearby. Do Remember to clear it
Hired a grassy powered site which did not disappoint. Camp kitchen, fridges etc available. Clean ablutions. Met by owners upon arrival. This is our first trip in our Goldstream (wind up) camper and one of the clamps/clips broke which hold down top. Chad (owner) took it away, welded it back together and fitted it back on.which saved us time to work out a fix (and worry), keeping us on schedule (day 1) of our trip. Kids had the cricket set straight out playing on the huge grass area:) Would recommend.
Lovely, quiet location. Sparkling clean facilities. Some animals to see - even a camel! Great for kids. Even during a wet winter. The kids that were there loved the muddy puddles.
Fantastic farmstay experience, great facilities and very hospitable host. Highly recommend spending a few days at Northbrook and enjoying the town of Northampton
Great stopover 6kms from road, hosts excellent, facilities and area well presented, highly recommended
Wonderful relaxed stay with our CMCA Batavians chapter. Had some lovely walks. Loved the fire pit of a night, clean ablutions and although there is cyclone damage it doesn't detract from the experience, great hosts.
They are a family run farm site with great shower and toilet facilities. Powered empowered sites plus cabin type accommodation. We find the place friendly. They are just recovering from the Seroja cyclone so please help them stay open.
Beautiful green grass, a welcome change from the dirt we had gotten used too. Caravan amenities could do with a bit of maintainence
Brilliant experience. Met lovely people here and had a beer with them around the camp fire. We seen the most beautiful sunset. Farm owners were super nice. Will def be back if we do another west coast trip as this was unexpectedly our favourite camp place from our whole trip. Also loved the animals, cookie the calf, jack the donkey and the camel

Pleasant overnight stay, amenities are kept clean, power available. Lovely Early morning views across the greens and the farm animals. Friendly host, EFTPOS accepted.
This is our second stay in 2 years. Nice quiet location. Donkey, horse and camel on the farm. Powered and unpowered sites as well as cabins. Thanks Bron for all your help.
This is an ideal overnight stopover on the way to Monkey Mia or Carnarvon. It has a caravan area with power and water (in some bays). This area is grass and is a welcome sight when compared to the surrounding farm land. There are also accommodation units and a camp kitchen. For a caravan bay the cost of one night was $25.
Gorgeous spot, very peaceful ablution block old but spotless great facilities for camp kitchen. Highly recommend.
Peace and quiet, beautiful place and cheap, we have 4 adults and 1 kid only $40 with a caravan but very disappointed the underground water is stink when we transfer to our caravan.
The Farmstay has a nice large open space with. Few hostel style dorm rooms to live in. Only stayed there overnight as a part of a tour. There's no air con in the rooms but it gets pretty cold at night so don't worry! Would be a great place to view stars as it's far from any light pollution. The great big bon fire they have at night is a huge plus!
Friendly location, we had the pick of the whole powered site. Toilets and showers were nice. It was very windy which kept a lot of the flies away. A random cat joined us and then took off to play with a small snake. For three of us it cost $30. One camper van and one tent.
To be honest, this is my first time to live in farm stay. I have to say this house is really good.
Perfect stop over stop, clean basic dorm rooms for less than i paid for an unpowered camp site in coral bay! ($20 ppn). Have stayed here several times and will continue to do so.
Planned on staying for just the 1 night and stayed for 4. Beautiful location and setting. Helpful and welcoming owners and excellent value for money. Highly recommended.
