Northam Caravan Park reviews
31Great caravan park but seriously the sprinkler system is severe and you don’t get warned about them and they wet everything as they come straight at your caravan with force! Think the owner needs to sort this out as your paying good money to stay here and every morning your stuff gets drenched so in that I can only give a 4 out of 5
4stars because those damn sprinklers that you ain't WARNED about wet your goods. So make sure your windows are closed to Ur vehicle tent or anything else that might not be waterproof other than that. The Stay was Good. Lady Pretty Friendly I mean hadn't paid in some days n she didn't even pay us a hurry up n pay up or ship out Warning. Sooo Can't beat that. 5Stars for her
Such a lovely old-school park. Facilities were clean, sites are private and the owners have created some beautiful gardens to explore.
Oh my gosh! This is like staying in the botanical gardens! It would be lovely & cool in summer. It is May & very pleasant atm. We had a caravan site. It was level, sites have pathway along behind the vans for toilet access. Garden beds separate the sites. We are having a very comfortable stay. We would definitely come back!
Beautiful little hidden jem. Worth every cent.the amenities are the best I've seen! I would rather tent here than get avhotel room. Amazing, quiet little park
Be careful booked over 6 months in advance and they cancelled booking just over a week out from my booking date. They got better offer with someone else booking a longer stay and cancelled mine whilst making excuses. Wouldn't recommend staying here with poor ethics and communication. Only gave 1 star because couldn't give zero, do yourself a favour and stay elsewhere unless you want to be disappointed.
While a lovely caravan park, the constant and very loud sound of trains from a very nearby train line going past the campground every 20-30 minutes throughout the night does not allow for sleep, whether you’re a heavy or light sleeper.
Great park, very clean and tidy. The ensuites were well designed for persons with Disabilities and were better than my own bathroom!
What a beautiful peaceful park, tree filled and gorgeous gardens a little piece of paradise.
Had a fish pond, and bird averey, lovely staff too.
Although this is a beautiful caravan park, i have again come across the same issue as when i was staying temporarily here last year, and that is cleanliness of the bathrooms.
This time it is the brand new bathrooms, where i gave found window sills, tops of switches and power points have dust on top.
Wiping my hand over the top of the dividing wall between the toilet and the shower, this too had a thick coating of dust on it.
Quiet, low key caravan park. Mostly long term tenants. Limited sites for short and overnight status. Most ablutions are for the residents, including a large block of toilets and showers for ladies only that is kept locked. There is only a small, ancient ablution block and a modern accessibility block for the short stay folks. The accessibility block is good with large ensuites. There are only 3 ensuites and they quickly fill with people who prefer them to the older showers. The camp kitchen is OK. There is a gas bbq, but no stove. There is a microwave and a sink with hot water. Located in a wedge between the old highway and the train line, but not too bad. Some shady sites. Access a bit tight for people with large vans.
Great Caravan park, very accommodating even if we didn't book. Terry the maintenance guy is always up for a chat and a laugh. Clean amenities and quiet.
Caravan park is big. Lots of permanent residents live here. The ablutions are dirty, old and digusting knock them down and start again. Stayed 5 nights and the same dirty marks were still in the showers.
A nice shady stop. Drive through sits were very convenient and the ensuite style bathrooms were very spacious and clean. Our second stop here.
Great caravan park. Sites are fair sized. Looking a bit old in places, and the on site accommodation is definitely in need of an overhaul! Overall would recommend for camping.
The amenities are terrible, worn and dirty. The sites are small and very different to get a biggish caravan into.
Very happy with our stay, they were very accommodating, storing our van when we went into Perth for a week, at such a low price we stayed on longer on our return. Fully recommend a stay.
We booked a Family cabin and found it to be clean and tidy. The shower recess was quite small but other than that it was fantastic! We arrived late however the staff organised a key pickup with clear directions where our cabin was. Overall very happy with the accommodation.
Quiet with an occasional Train, which is great if you like long trains, including Indian Pacific.
Just out of town. Clean.
Can be a bit tight with you have big Van.
Came for camping; staff were great, tent area has brilliant facilities, really enjoyed the stay.
