If you want to get scammed please enroll here! I went to one class and hated it. The lecturers are extremely lazy and rely on youtube to teach the class and have a really aggressive teaching style not to mention no parking at all on the campus.
I unenrolled and was charged $50 even though I unenrolled after the one class and at the correct date

Ive found North Metropolitan Tafe at Mount Lawley to be an excellent institution with friendly admin staff and lecturers.
Though, the buildings are somewhat aged at this point and could use funding for refurbishment.

The campus is alive on weekdays with the hustle and bustle of many student from different disciplines and has a real "community vibe" to being there.
The grounds are well kept and the surrounding suburbs very quiet. There are many parks throughout the surrounds and access apmle acess to to many cafes and shops on the strip, which are only a 5-10 minute walk away.

The cafe at the Tafe has excellent coffee and the staff rememberd me and my order after 3 days.
They could use more staff on, especially around lunchtime when wait times can become longish (as all students seem to have uniform break times).

My experience with student services has been excellent on every occasion and seems to be a thriving part of the institution. The people working there were lovely toward me and adept at their duties.

There is also a student health service program on campus called REACH. Ive yet to access this resource but am very pleased to see the support is readily available to students.

I would highly reccomend North Metro tafe as a campus and organization. My experiences thus far have been very satisfying and I have felt supported as a student and member of the community.

Has a lot of Nice and good Health-related lecturers, staffs, facilities and equipment, recommend for someone who wants to get into health-related course, for a solid start

Very helpful staff, both at admin and the rest of campus.

Lecturers are genuine friendly and very approachable with great knowledge in their specialist areas.

Great but small library, good range of texts, posters and AV resources specially for the courses taken.
Amazingly supportive librarians!

Canteen new however still cannot cater for dairy free and gluten free unless you want soft drink, black coffee or fried chips.

It's pretty easy to navigate if you have the time to look around but the staff are supper helpful and happy to show you where to go if you don't have time to look around

The only reason I'm giving this review 2 stars is because the campus is decent.

I ended up having to withdraw from the course I did because I got sick over a 2 week period and I could barely focus on simple conversations. I couldn't get back on track with the course because it's accelerated (something we didn't learn at orientation and learnt about 3 weeks on).

I experienced issues with some teachers here, mainly just communication issues and a little bit of unprofessionalism and babying.

This is not a joke review. Mt Lawley tafe's response to the covid-19 crisis in regards to getting back on track has been nothing short of pathetic. The lack of proper communication as well having some dreadful teachers has made me almost regret signing up to study here. The south regional tafe in Albany was much better than this one even though they are much smaller.
