I went here a year ago the teachers were unorganised and the units were poorly scheduled or not at all. They and partly me cause I didn’t handle incompetence very wellcompletely wasted 6 months and $3,000

This school is not recommended for non-Australian students. Private schools are recommended. The curriculum seems to have passed 40 years, and there is clearly discrimination and managers? Supervisor? Just the same It's better not to expect help. You'll learn to wash your hands for all day like you'd learn in elementary school and you'll get a failing grade for that too.
A lot of things are out of common sense here.
There was only one lecturer.listen to me and try to help Unfortunately, the lecturer was not in charge.

Lecturers are great but the admins and course units are badly unorganised. Too much pressure to handle.completing 11 unit in one semester is ridicules. The institution doesn't deserve a star.

I am giving a one star as I did an English course here but I was taught by 3 different teachers all of whom did not speak English as a first language so was hard to understand them and secondly half the class was about aboriginal people and culture. If I wanted to know about aboriginal people I would have taken a course in Australian culture but I needed to learn english language. I quit due to these reasons and in future I hope you get in lectures that speak English as there first language and take into consideration people need to learn the language not culture

All I can say about this Tafe is that it is extremely unorganised. All throughout the year we were messed around constantly with timetables/classes. The lecturers were constantly battling each other over who gets what classroom. Also, the amount of units in my course over one semester was absolutely ridiculous. Trying to finish 8 units while trying to hold down a part time job was way too much. Even uni usually only has 4 units in a semester. There was way to much crammed into one year, the course I did (diploma of photography) should have been spread out to a year and a half/2years. Also, some of the units were too advanced for beginner photographers, and I felt like they could have been put into 2nd year (advanced diploma). Doing this would have lightened the load a little bit. Seeing how many people dropped out just in the first semester didn’t shock me. I think we started with about 25/30 people and about 8 or 10 ended up finishing. They need to make some serious improvements with this Tafe. The only reason I gave it 2 stars was because most the lecturers were nice/helpful.

Good tafe with some excellent lecturers (vicki ames, drew armstrong, bela kotai, etc.) however, one lecturer here, monique bosshard curby, refused to even look at my work and immediately failed me for no reason.i quite literally had to waste half a year of my life re-doing the same class, unable to advance onto the next certificate until the next year, solely because she refused to look at my work for no reason.so unprofessional, hurtful, and felt oddly personal.a couple years later and i still can’t comprehend why she did this.

By far the worst education provider I come across, safe yourself a headache. Poor quality education, extremely poor communication.

Impressive college with an impeccable legal department.

Incredibly blessed with the lecturers that provided me with the skills and knowledge that helped me build a career within the legal industry.

I now work within a law firm in the CBD thanks to the courses completed at North Metropolitan TAFE.

I found that the campus upheld a professional environment filled with accommodating staff.

Fantastic and passionate art/ design lecturers for the most part. Administrators are an unfortunate mix of the horrendously overworked at the lower end, to the completely incompetent the further up the chain you go. The result is a shambles for staff and students.

Dropped off by the school bus at the front door. Very open and inviting reception area, lifts and outdoor courtyard area.

Doing a course here and loving it. The only problem is exits and toilets are a long walk from the classrooms.

Lecturers did great with what they were given but there is no flexibility if you work at all.
Admin is very unorganised and are quick to take your money.

Extremley Poor! This is a waning to any person (s) wishing to extend there professional development, or looking after seconardy education.the lectures do an amazing job with the resouces they are given, but unfortunatly that is very little.
I enrolled for a class in 2019 and it turned out to be the most unorganised class i have ever been to in my entire life, all the confusion of classrooms not being allocated to lecturers, timetables being incorrect, the lecturers then had to deal with the courses still being audited and learning materials being incorrect/missing we where then thrown into assessments, ill prepared. In one instance the lecture threw her books on the ground and broke down and apologized extensively.
I have just returned and nothing has changed, there is no support for lectures, classrooms still not assigned, assessments being changed days out of them being due, in conclusion i would not return here untill these issues are rectified.

Is a shame that a school like this, as a government supports, the services are so terrible
The library never have the blackboard open at the computers, staff you can count in one hand who is helpful for many things (library), we don’t have access to the person responsible for our course, at class sometimes the usb entry doesn’t work, the treatment for students from teachers are not the same.the list of mistakes and bad impressions are long
Every end of term I complete the surveys about opinion on Tafe, always saying the same
Seriously
My impression is the worst one.totally regret of coming to this school

Lecturers will tell you they're only here for their pay check, or waiting till retirement. Biggest waste of time and money.

The training was of low standard and it was evident that the lecturers were only passing students to keep their jobs. I will not study here again, or recommend the course.
