Norseman Great Western Travel Village reviews
54Service and food disgusting the older woman very rude. Parma was made with a pizza sauce and tasty cheese and chicken not cooked properly.steak so thin and not worth the money.we have eaten in many places over the last 4 weeks and this would have to be the worst and a waste of money.
What a pleasant surprise! A touch of home-y luxury in the middle of this rural town. The staff were amazingly friendly! Food surpassed our expectations and was very comforting after a long drive across the Nullarbor. Pool and atmosphere were both beautifully pleasant!
Been staying here yearly for 30 years, rang the manager at 7.15 p.m to say shower was blocked, overflowing into bathroom and coming up in the basin and very smelly. No response, no call back in the morning, very dissapointing
The room was good, the restaurant was a cross between Fawlty Towers and Gordon Ramsey, the manager was walking around swearing and complaining loudly, my food was atrocious when I spoke to the chef, he shouted and swore at me said he knew my car rego and threatened me, someone was smoking in one of the eating areas, will stay there again, but will never again eat there
Nice room, comfy bed and quiet. We ate in the resort restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed our meals (restaurant was only serving people staying in the resort).
I had the scotch fillet steak with pepper sauce and vegetables, which I have to say is the best steak that I've bought in quite some time. My wife had roast pork belly and vegetables. Both meals were very generous servings.
Well done chef
Room very small and there is nowhere to hang any clothes! You can hear people talking next door. It's ok for the money.
Best place to stay in Norseman.
I stayed in a pet friendly room - extremely clean and comfortable.
My friends stayed in a 2 bedroom unit - very spacious.
When I realised the next day that I'd left my phone charger behind the manager very kindly took it the post office the next day and sent it to me in Melbourne.
Highly recommend.
MicroTiny rooms, dated, very dated, food was good. Needs more blankets for winter we were so very cold during the night.
Worse place I’ve stayed,
While the rooms are large the carpets are Thread bear, rooms stink of industrial cleaner, one wonders what they’re covering up.
The TV is small as a pc monitor,
The check in was almost hostile and the food was not too bloody good, when the waiter asked about the meal I said it was a bit ordinary.he’s responding by abusing me and getting aggressive,
Better off staying in a tent
I needed somewhere to stay due to poor weather and fading light. Unable to make it to my final destination.
They were able to fit me due to a large number of bookings due to surf championship contestants taking up most of the rooms.
The room was large. Bit dated but all I needed was a place to sleep.
The restraunt was busy but the service was friendly and the food came out quickly.
Will remember this motel for future stays as I pass through on a regular basis.
Nice place. Awkward parking but practical.
Quiet and had everything pretty provided.
After a long day driving we were not happy to find our shower head did not stay up so couldn't shower and when i tried to ring their after hours number i got a message saying the mobile number was disconnected. It was a 40 degree day and the bathroom was extremely warm and the air-conditioning did not work very well in the room. Room stayed quite warm all night and don't think it was worth $130
It was the most comfy bed I have ever had on a trip.
Friendly staff.
Fastest meal preparation at the restaurant.
Short driving distance to main street frontages.
Excellent welcome centre.
We liked it. As a bed, shower and a feed for the night, it was more than enough. Room was neat and clean, sheets were crisp and fresh, bathroom was clean and tidy, parking great, had a scotch fillet with chips and salad from the restaurant - beautiful meal and well priced. It is in the middle of the desert so let’s keep our standards fair. Lady at the front desk was a good chat, restaurant was also good service.
Only downfall, no teaspoon to stir your coffee in the morning so hubby used the handle of a hair brush.we find ourselves most resourceful when in the desert.
Thanks for having us!
Another great stay at this friendly motel. My dogs & I were very welcomed. I also can’t rave enough about the customer service. They love their job and it shows! Shout out to Craig for being fabulous and changing my tyre.
Staff were fantastic
Air con was going when we entered room.
Kids were free to go into pool
A great night's stay
Really lovely place to stay for the night.
Front of house staff were friendly and welcoming. The lady who served us had the biggest smile! Easy to find our room they let us know all the details of the town and accomodation.
The rooms are big enough for what we needed them for (one night stop over on way to Perth) I stupidly booked a twin room instead of double bed for my partner and I but that wasn’t at fault of the accomodation!
Would come again!
The place hadn’t been cleaned. The coffee table had food congealed on it. There was stubble on the bathroom sink and hair up the wall in shower. Beds were comfortable. Noisy location as we could here people in cabin next door snoring.
Management and staff are excellent.
Great food, rooms very comfortable.
In such a remote location, cou ask for better.
Well done Michelle.
As really bad connection on the way and we been late but the owner was very sweet, leave the key to us?
