Ningaloo Bakehouse & Cafe reviews
70Haven't visited the bakery itself, but did pick up one of their loaves of bread from the supermarket yesterday. I'm not a huge bread person. At home, I usually freeze a loaf & take out what I need & it'll last a few months. But I've already eaten about half the loaf! Very nice
Pie goes alright, and iv had pies all over Australia.the breaky burger isn't that fantastic, to much sauce and buns stale. Outside eating area full of cockies that just want to eat your food.
Went there today to pick up a cake for my son’s birthday. No cake, and they lost the order that we placed yesterday morning. Probably a blessing in disguise with the amount of flies in the cake display unit.
The pie and coffee were amazing but it was a long wait for the coffee and service was very average.
Traveled half way around Aus and this is the best bakery so far. Cakes, pies, burgers & holy chicken goodness Yum!
The food and the fast and friendly service are the best. I have never had a pie as good as this one, full of juicy and tender beef. 'Rosie's Chicken Wrap' the same, packed with yummy meat, crisp lettuce and a nice sauce.
We came here both days we were in Exmouth. The breakfast bun was soooo good. I wanted to try the breakfast wrap the next day but they’d sold out and we’re putting their lunch stuff out.
I had the coffee eclair on the first day and it was so tasty that I got it again the next day. Unfortunately for me, I think I ended up with yesterday’s eclair and I was charged full price for it! When cakes are left over night, they don’t taste nor look great the next day, at least have a half price cabinet for yesterday’s cakes so I can enjoy the freshly baked ones when paying full whack. Perhaps next time I’ll have a closer look at what’s on the counter and point to the one I want.
There is lots to choose from and everything looked delicious. I think I had just picked the wrong thing on our second day.
Excellent range.
Great coffee (lactose free dirty chai was fabulous).
HUGE super-moist and very tasty muffins.
Great croissants. Good pizza.
Superb breaky pie.
They’ve got everything
Absolutely disgusting. Threw most of my chicken burger away. Couldn't eat it. Also the birds outside on the tables are unhygienic.
Fantastic place to eat and get a drink. The meat pies are in my top five of Australia (I had the chunky pepper steak). The shakes are very refreshing and they even had did it with soy milk (I hit 40 and can no longer have normal milk. Love ageing). The sweet baked goods are fantastic as well.
The staff are always friendly however the savoury food has always been very oily to touch and eat. Also I am not sure if they wash milk jugs after every use as I have to use alternative milk due to dietary requirements, and I always get the effects of regular milk whenever I have ordered coffee here. Won’t be doing that again
Ok, the barista is super kindly.but the cashier didn't seem to understand what I ordered. I ordered soy mocha, they just gave me nomal one. Futhermore, the coffee was so tasteless. I have problems digesting lactose and need staff training on allergy requests.
The pies are sooo good and perfectly creamy. Everything else is pretty epic aswell. Can recommend trying everything
Can we give this bakery more stars. We have tried the vanilla slice, lemon cheesecake slice, cherry slice, sausage roll, stroganoff pie, potato pie and fruit bread loaf. Everything is so good and they have so many choices.
Best Pie’s hands down! Also great choice of baked sweets which have been really yummy. Highly recommend!
Oh my gosh, the pies here are sensational. The pastry is delicate and fresh. Nice amount of chunky meat. Try the kangaroo ale pie. I just want to take the shop home with me.
Husband and I came here three times to try and get some pies but everytime they had barely any left. So we decided the third time to grab something else. Husband got a bacon, egg and cheese roll but it was unfortunately very dry and the the bacon was heaped up on one side of the roll.
I asked twice for a chicken and vege pastie but instead received a pastie with minced beef in it. Sad because my husband asked the guy behind the counter if he grabbed the right one after it looked like he didn't.and obviously it was wrong.
Nevertheless, I brushed it off and tried the meat pastie but it was honestly so gross and dry. I only ate the pastry part and threw away the rest.
Hopefully this was just an off day for the bakery.
Possibly best coffee in town, definitely best temperature! Bakery products excellent, open at 06: 00 am
Ordered 2 Vietnamese pork Banh mi rolls, basically it was a pork roll with carrot and cucumber & Mayo. No chilli or any kind of Asian dressing or coriander.
Also ordered 2 coffee frappe's, no consistency in quality as the one I'd ordered the day before was awesome. This one went in the bin. $30 spent on rubbish
Also the hot breaky rolls which we ate over the last two weeks were very inconsistent with fillings. First one's had a good serving of bacon and BBQ sauce. And multiple other ones you couldn't even see the ingredients sticking out the side of the burger buns.
Love this Bakehouse! A trip to Exmouth is not complete without a seafood pie and a jam doughnut ️ Yet another delicious experience, thank you Ningaloo Bakehouse!
