Nightcap at the Ship Inn

Son and I stayed Friday to Sunday at the Nightcap. Was pleasantly surprised by the double storey apartment although the stairs and I did not form a strong attachment as they were quite steep and I'm only short with hip issues.my personal trainer would have been proud of the effort I put in every time I forgot something upstairs or needed to use the bathroom (also upstairs).
Apartment appeared very clean and I found the huge bed very comfortable and the sheets lovely and crisp. The fold out was comfortable but unfortunately, when open, took up pretty much all the living space down stairs. Bathroom was small and probs needs an upgrade.also.door didnt lock. Huge wardrobe space.
Didnt expect housekeeping but on return on Saturday, beds were made, towels replaced and milk etc replenished.
Had a room overlooking pool and were on balcony when pub closed on both Friday and Saturday and were amazed at how quiet it was.didnt get any untenable noise from pub or bottle shop.
I'd definitely stay again but would have to make peace with that staircase first.

Just one weeny winge.it would feel safer if the gate was more secure.but I understand your requirements for safe egress too.

We stayed at the ship inn for 4 nights. A studio apartment on 2 levels. The room was clean and tidy and was cleaned every day while we were out. Very quiet with a view over a very cold pool (middle of winter). Meals in the pub are excellent although a expanded menu would be nice. Close to other restaurants and fast food outlets and walking distance to supermarkets.
Rates were reasonable and we enjoyed our stay. I would recommend the Ship Inn to anyone looking for accommodation in busselton.

Location is PERFECT!
So many options for food around but definetly check the Ship inn restraunt first.

Room was clean and presented very well.
Staff were great.

2-storey high room with kitchen and living room at the 1st floor, and the bedroom and bathroom in the 2nd floor. There's a small balcony too. Definitely spacious for a small family of 3.
Kitchenette stocked with microwave, stove, kettle and sink with dishwashing liquid and cutleries.
Located opposite to a petrol station with convenience store and Mcdonald. There's an onsite small playground at the restaurant and a small pool.
Was given 3 welcome drink vouchers which can be exchanged for alcoholic or soft drink, and a 10% discount for food

Really really comfy bed! Nice and clean. Bathroom very tiny but that’s the only negative. Nice little place. Was a little worried about noise and being right next to the bottle shop but it was absolutely fine as it closes at 9.
Would stay again. Don’t rate the restaurant though would recommend going elsewhere.

Great location. Hotel is next door so you don't need to travel for an evening meal. Very clean accommodation. Kitchenette is well appointed with all appliances. Upstairs bedroom is spacious and bed is very comfortable. Bathroom is clean. No problems whatsoever. Will definitely stay again!

Awesome room with everything there to make our stay enjoyable…awesome location…2 reverse cycle aircons…perfect!

It is very clean, well equipped, everything you need and well located.

Excellent location everything is right on your doorstep literally.
The only downside for me is that it was a bit dusty, which I do have to watch as my daughter and I get asthma, oh and the bed rolled out from under me.
I sat up in bed to watch T. V and put the pillows behind me and when I sat back the bed rolled out and I fell backwards onto the floor.
Could not lock the wheels on the bed, soo watch that one peeps.
But overall excellent I do recommend this place.

Nice hotel it’s two stores apartment and clean and only the guy at restaurants was rude but we really didn’t care as the food was yummy. We stayed two days and so worth it.

Clean, spacious, comfortable, great location and well equipped with free wifi and smart TVs.
We stayed 2 nights and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the pool kept our 12 year old busy the entire time.
Food was also great and we orders 3 meals and got a 10% discount
We will definitely be back

A great place to stay. Shops and eating out places close by and convenient. Accommodation great.
Certainly would stay here again when in Busselton.

Thoughtful Inn, the air conditioner is turned on before the customer enters the room, the best thing is the cool temperature welcome you on the hot summer day.

Lovely staff. Left my house keys behind and organising their return was no effort. Very nice rooms. Perfect location. Close to everything

Great accommodation, huge bed, linked to the pub but seperated by Dan Murphys so it's nice and quiet. The pub was quite popular on a Wednesday night and the food was awesome.

Staying at The Ship over the weekend. Staff are great and the bed is fantastic. For anyone who caught my last review of peppered squid salad in Perth get a load of this. 100% better thank you Ship crew.

Staff were super friendly at the reception/pub. Grounds, rooms, everything was kept very clean. Apartments had more than adequate facilities to use.

A very comfortable place to stay when down south and very central. Pubs makes a very good Parmy. Locals are friendly. Staff even put on the BBL instead of the tennis for us just so we wouldn’t miss the game.

Would happily return! Thanks for another great stay away from home guys n gals.

Super comfy beds! Very spacious rooms, I was actually quite surprised. Much bigger than the photos online. The venue manager Angela was very helpful and accommodating even though we had arrived VERY late from the long drive from Perth airport and she was more than happy to help with anything we needed. Great location and right next to the pub which also did AMAZING food. I would 110% stay here again.

Though somewhat lacking in non meat dishes, the beetroot risotto was the only vegetarian option and it was amazing. And the garlic bread was old school delicious. Will definitely be going back.

Great little place right in the heart of Busselton. Staff friendly and food at the Ship Inn is fantastic with friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere.
