Nick's Place Cockburn Central reviews
26 Lamb kebab had cold lamb. All the meat was precooked, chilled and then reheated. Was told they had no fresh only precooked and reheated.
Disappointing
Brought 2 kebabs today for lunch
They weren't wrapped up properly
we paid for one with egg and didn't get it.
When we got home and opened them they fell apart and was filled with so much lettuce also
Time visited was 11am
Visited Nick's for a kebab with Hubby tonight.the place was freezing, Hubby's lamb was rubbery and when he voiced this he just got laughed at. Leaving with a sore jaw and don't plan on coming back. Chips were cooked in dirty oil. We watched them double cook the meat. Not worth the $55. Should have just gone to the Thai place a few doors down. At least she has pride in her food. These fast food places need to sharpen up.
If you like quality meat in your kebabs then nicks place is the best, definitely hard to beat!
Food is good but the employees forgot to add something to the meal and lied to us saying they definetly added it. Poor customer service.
Purchased their Eat Like a Greek Box tonight to bring home. It was really good, the lamb was cooked well, full of flavour and not chewy. Chips were hot and golden with a nice crunch. The Greek salad was a good size and well presented, I'd probablyrequest a drizzle of garlic dressing/sauce next time but that is just my preference. I'd definitely go back, I have been to Nick's in Fremantle many times and always enjoyed the food there their Cockburn outlet is just as good. The service was good too, polite and friendly. Oh and their hot chilli sauce has a nice kick without being overly hot, although I am use to chilli others may find it a bit spicey.
Why say you close at 8.30pm if you close at 8.24pm? You just lost yourself a good $100 in business
What I ordered and what I got was completed different and absolutely drenched in hot chilli sauce.so dinner was wrecked
Kebab was lacking. Nice shop and staff but my kebab was missing hummus and dripping in tzatziki
Delicious lamb souvlakis! Real meat not doner. I have been going since I was a kid. Not a clean or well decorated store and customer service could be a lot better. But the food makes up for it.
Such a great bite to eat here, love the food and atmosphere if you I want to eat in or take away it’s good for them, and the food is a close to Greece as you’ll get in Perth!
Good salad and chips but the falafal and the chicken was so hard I had to break one of my teeth won't recommend this again thanks very bad experience
Delicious. I don't even like kebabs but I like the ones from here. The Lamb Souvlaki - the meats are so juicy!
Garlic sauce is and service is great
Will be back again (:
Please keep up the good work!
This place has gone down hill. Used to be really good. Must have changed hands very disappointed. I won't be going back.
The food is horrible, got the mixed grill, the meat was dry as a bone. The dips where oily, I’ll never go there again. Had to get a pizza
Excellent Greek Shop, the only in the area. As a result of no night life in Cockburn they tend to close quite early. Not an issue as I was able to find their opening hours easily by emailing them. Lovely little locations
Always have a great experience with this store! Tonight especially so, with great customer service and awesome food.
Just ordered from these guys for first time didn't disappoint 10/10 chips tasted really nice to.
Hey Nicks Cockburn, I was really hanging out for a Souva. Been a long long time customer of the Freo store so I thought I would go to the Cockburn Central one as it is closer to home. The Souva flavour was great, the pita was awesome but unfortunately there were only about 2 pieces of lamb inside that weren't full of chewy gristle. I pretty much couldn't eat most of the meat and ended up spitting it out. Disappointed coz as far as take away goes this is one of the more pricey things to get and I pretty much paid for a salad Souva. The serving size of the medium chips for $5.50 was bit weak but I know that chips are one of the money makers for fast food so I get it. Just could have been a bit more value for money. I think I will stick to the Freo store. Just a bit better quality and value for money. Cheers
Bought falafel today, completely stale. Why do you keep your shop open during this covid time if you cant serve customers with fresh food. Such a shame we chose this place today for lunch. I would highly recommend not to go to this place.
