Next Gen Kings Park reviews
59 We held a Squash Tournament here on Australia Day 26th & 27th January. The facility itself is arguably the best in the state with quality squash courts highly conducive to running a tournament.
Nothing but compliments to Etienne and staff, the community of local members and people who maintain this amazing place, in a truly spectacular location (Kings Park). <3

Amazing facility. Went there to play a squash tournament and was flattered by the ambiance of the place. Excellent tennis courts, Swimming pools and food. Mesmerizing views of the City and Kings Park makes it a must visit for everyone.
Amazing experience! Staff were all so lovely and helpful. Lots of amenities to use. Really impressed
The NextGeneration Kings Park is a premier fitness club in Perth. I've been a member for over ten years, and after relocating to a suburb far from the gym, I've tried other gyms, but none of them could compete with this one, so I returned, but not just myself; my husband has now joined.
For the first time this year, I participated in their 6-week fitness challenge and was blown away by the results; not only did the final tests show an improvement in my fitness level, but I could feel it every single session.
We worked with incredible PTs; Carlos, Alessandro and Mitchel were fantastic, and I learned a lot from them. Their guidance and responses were excellent, covering not only workout recommendations but also food and calorie management.
Heavenly! Reminds me of all the best health clubs I've belonged to over the years on the Gold Coast. Like the golden door, it has spiritual meditation classes. It has views of the city while riding the gym bikes. There are trees outside the windows of the group classes room. It's central and surrounded by nature. I love the roof top pool. I'm meeting top people from all over the world. I love the communality of the Cafe, the lift, the change rooms. People are friendly. The staff are excellent and after 3 weeks I am feeling better than ever from the classes, my gym work outs and the help from the free Body scan and advice from the PT provided. I feel taken care of in lots of ways which I didn't at Goodlife. I am so happy to have my dream to join Next Generation a reality!
I am writing this review to express my dissatisfaction with the club's lack of action in addressing and preventing a recent incident that occurred to me there. Despite being advertised as a private members club, it fails to live up to that standard. I was shocked to discover that my shoes were stolen from the women's lockers. Naturally, I assumed this must be a mistake, as I never expected such an incident to happen in a supposedly exclusive establishment.
Upon inquiring at the reception, I was informed that there are no security cameras anywhere on the club premises, making it impossible for them to identify who was present during the time of the theft. I had to repeatedly call them to inquire about any progress made in locating my shoes, but all they did was print a small notice on an A4 paper, which I barely noticed, knowing that it would be displayed in the lockers. This notice remained posted for two weeks before being removed, without anyone reaching out to me or providing any resolution.
It is absolutely unheard of that a public place, frequented by hundreds of people, does not have a security camera system in place. As a contractual member, I feel unsafe being on the premises of this club.
The cleanliness of the place is also questionable, with the sauna being cleaned perhaps once a month. It looks and smells bad.
In this clean gym, you can focus on your fitness goals without any distractions or concerns about cleanliness. It's a space where hygiene is a top priority, making it a comfortable and safe environment for all gym-goers.
The club has excellent facilities, with friendly staff, a nice café to grab a coffee after a workout. Highly recommend this club.
Next Gen ticks all the boxes, gym, tennis club, squash courts, reformer studio, two swimming pools, spa, sauna, steam and a licensed restaurant/cafe. They have regular functions/musicians and you can even book the rooftop pool area for parties.
Membership here is an easy choice as there is no other club with that offering. Fees are comparable or less than F45 or boxing, but obviously offering a whole lot more.
Smiling staff are just a bonus.

I never write reviews but feel compelled to alert potential customers to the lack of customer loyalty and care at this club i experienced recently. Having been a happy and loyal member for over 10 years and investing what must be north of 20,000 in that time I introduced my partner and was told (mistakenly it turns out) by their sales staff twice that this type of introduction would attract a $100 gift voucher at the club. For clarity. It was their mistake to make this verbal commitment in error to us twice in the lead up to our committing. It was not a misunderstanding on my part. I asked the question “ will this type of membership still attract the $100 voucher” twice and was told yes. When I noticed the funds hadn’t reached my account I followed it up in February. After ignoring a couple of my emails and long delays in others and lots of irrelevant excuses they gave me half of what they had originally committed to me as a “good will gesture” last week, over two months later. I laughed my head off when I read that! So they have saved themselves 50 dollars and paid in wasted management and staff time, numerous email requests, grumpy customer …… and a bad review. Go figure.
This is a very poorly managed club! Today I wanted to renew my son's membership and it took a whole day for a staff member to call back with a price for annual student membership- $1600 for one year, as opposed to $1200 for 2021.25% increase with no explanation or benefits. The only reason the cocky sales manager called me back was because I sent a message to their Facebook page, guess where he spends his time, when he should be looking after customers (he had no manners unfortunately)! No fitness appraisal offered, wet areas unclean and has become unprofessional over the 3 years we've been coming here. High staff turnover (i.e. Personal training staff, reception etc.) says a lot about this business. Have now found a wonderful gym which is clean, popular and offers a whole lot more.shop around my friends
Our children attend the swim school within Next Gen. Joanne and her team of instructors are wonderful and very professional. Our childrens' skills have improved immensely and their confidence in the water has skyrocketed since starting here only a few months ago. I would highly recommend these classes to other parents.
The adult swimming classes run by Joanne Jolly are great and we have learn't a lot. The small, friendly classes are very enjoyable.
Wouldn’t recommend the gym. Boring, not vibrant and the staff can be rude and not responsive. Expensive for what it is
I’ve been a member for some time. The classes, gym staff & facilities in every area have really improved recently thanks to a new management team. It’s an excellent club run professionally from top to bottom.
My children attend the swimming classes here. There have been huge improvements recently. Joanne has the classes operating smoothly with great communication. The class sizes are small and the pool isn't too busy so the atmosphere is relatively calm. The pool area is now well lit and inviting.
I have been a member of Next Gen fitness club in Kings Park for almost 5 years and i have seen a lot of postive changes since last year that has sustained and improved overall service to the clients. The swimming school has rolled out structure and framework where I see value in time we are spending at the classes, tennis classes and sessions are well managed, gym
Equipment have been upgraded and now rooftop pool and terrace has renovated to accommodate well deserved relaxing time in luxury. Thank you team and keep up the good work.
Been member for about 4 years. Nice facility, professional and helpful staffs. However, there are arrogant and rude pennant tennis players from time to time on the tennis courts. Some of them are non-next gen members from other clubs according to the staffs. Had an occasion where our Court bookings were not honoured due to these rude pennant players refusing to leave (even yelled at us). Made me have a second thought about paying rather expensive membership fees. Next gen management should really do something to regulate these issues.
Lovely Facilities. Helpful staff. I love the view from the rooftop area. Its the best part of my day
Initially was hesitant after reading some of the reviews, but one of the staff I think Fez invited me down and payed for a coffee for me and made it a great experience for me which eventually led me to sign up! Definitely recommend!
