Newpark Bar & Bistro

Been travelling here from South of the river for 7 years! Can't find best bang for buck anywhere in Perth. Food is delicious and good sized, staff super friendly and a good peaceful atmosphere

My wife and I ate here with a group of friends from a social group we belong to. We had been here before and liked the place so a return visit was always going to happen.

The venue is in a shopping centre so parking is no problem.inside there is plenty of room.live music on some nights and the inevitable sport on the screens, fortunately with no sound.

The menu is all your usual pub favourites with most priced modestly a bit either side of $30 and, most surprisingly, deserts were only $9. The bar offers a dozen or so tap beers and also my favourite cider which got them an extra star. There is also a rotation of "specials2 tough the week.

Service was quick and friendly despite the place being busy and, most definitely, as Arnie said "We'll be back. "

I have lived in this area for some time and never bothered to go.
Was sugested by my husband. Now we go often even had food delivered love this place its a gem in a place you wouldnt think of. When the shopping area gets it face lift I hope it doesn't change. We lived in Kalgoolie for years and remind us of it. Very friendly and comfortable food amazing well done guys of the small amount of taverns are the place this is THE BEST

A Memorable Evening

I visited this evening with my family and had an incredible time. The cozy ambiance, friendly staff, delicious food and drinks, made for an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend to anyone seeking a fantastic pub outing.

I have always loved the Newpark Tavern, the service is so good, warm and friendly and the food is fantastic!

Big serves, reasonably priced, quick and friendly service. Everyday specials are great as well.

I was pleasantly surprised. Hadn't been here for years. Was in the Bar area for my besties birthday was actually pretty nice.
The vibe was great, the food was tasty.
Has a nice outside area, meant for the smokers but meh.

The service and atmosphere is always good here and the last time I came I had the T-bone special which was very nice. This time I decided to try the pork ribs which was below average. I thought it was microwaved or something cause the edges and skin was extremely dry like how you microwave leftover meat it becomes dry. Maybe because it was busy and the orders had to be placed and there was a rush as it was but quality must always come first before quantity. The coleslaw that came with it was average however the chips were very good. The honey soy pork belly bites is a must try as the pork skin was perfectly crisp. The garlic prawns was not up to expectations as it took over an hour for 2 cups of rice and garlic prawns but the garlic prawns.

Overall the local tavern is recommended to visit especially for their specials however I was very disappointed with the pork ribs.

First time here, due to easy access. Didn't know what to expect.
So this is an unbiased review.
Staff are great, professional and friendly friendly.

Dam those chicken wings were the best I've eaten hands down and the pork ribs and Chicken burger was massive and goooood!

The bistro isn't big but it clean and the decor is easy. Service is really good and the ladies are lovely. Food is good, nice size serves and tasty. The menu has a good variety and the prices are great.went today and had a very large piece of fish, nice chips and salad for $14.90. Three people, 2 x fish, 1 x steak, both with chips and salad, garlic bread and a drink each $65.00.
Great value and good

Lovely casual place to have a meal. We had tbone steak special and a garlic prawns entrée. Great value for money, the steak was huge and tasty and the garlic prawns were yumm. If your in the area I would highly recommend giving this place a try

Great staff, peaceful with good food and prices. Love coming, reading my book and knocking back a couple of cold ones.

Love this tavern will keep on going back staff and very friendly and a great sheff keep up the good work guys we are back next Friday

The quiz was good, the staff were good. However I feel it is let down by the food quality. My brother got a pizza and it was very sloppy. I got a chicken fettuccine and found it watery, bland and tasted as if it was microwaved.

Ok place, was there for first time for quiz with a few mates. That Brown girl behind the bar (I think French girl) with the big hoop ear rings on was so FN hot. Is she single?
Overall not to bad of a bistro, pretty laxed environment.

This is a lovely pub and their chicken parmi is really good. We had an end of year lunch about 20 of us.

Food was great big portions. Service just a tad slow but they explained the reason no problem staff helpful
