New Generation Homes

I am extremely disappointed with the construction company's handling of my house project. The entire process has been excruciatingly slow, with a severe lack of regular updates and ineffective communication.

One major issue is the @homes portal they created to track the progress of the construction. Unfortunately, it is not up to date, making it impossible for me to stay informed about the progress of my house.

Adding to my frustration, I discovered that the construction supervisor had been changed without any prior notification. Shockingly, it took the company a staggering two months to inform me about this change. Such a lack of transparency and communication is completely unacceptable.

Moreover, the new homes consultant, Mark Wilson, and the selections consultant, Joane Erasmus, have been consistently unreachable. Their unresponsiveness has made it incredibly difficult for me to address any concerns or seek clarification.

The new construction supervisor, Dale Perdikomatis, initially promised to provide an update within two weeks. However, I had to continuously chase him up for it. This lack of proactive communication is highly unprofessional and has only added to the delays and frustrations.

In an attempt to move things forward, I attended a meeting at the house with the construction supervisor, with the understanding that the tiler would start working on the same day. However, it has been over a month since that meeting, and the tiler has still not started. This lack of progress and failure to meet commitments is simply unacceptable.

To make matters worse, my attempts to seek updates and clarification through emails and phone calls have gone unanswered. It is incredibly frustrating to be left in the dark without any communication or acknowledgment of my concerns.

What is even more disheartening is that the construction company themselves requested an extension due to their inability to finish the building of the house on time. The building supervisor even informed me two weeks ago that they would require yet another extension as they cannot meet the agreed-upon handover time.

This entire situation has been incredibly stressful, especially considering that my wife is currently pregnant. The uncertainty surrounding the completion date of our house has added an immense amount of stress to our lives. It is deeply disappointing that during such an important time, we have been subjected to such unnecessary stress and uncertainty.

Overall, I am extremely frustrated with the construction company's inefficiency, lack of communication, constant delays and failure to meet commitments. If given the chance, I would have chosen a different company for this project. I strongly advise others to explore alternative options to avoid the same frustrations and stress that my wife and I have endured throughout this process.

Please go and ask for Matt Diamond when you are looking for a house to build. My partner and I were amazed by how effortless he made the process feel. Buying a new home has been one of our biggest dreams and for a long time we didn't know if we could get into a house we really wanted. Matt explained everything in fantastic detail and made the entire process seamless.

He made sure that we were looked after every step of the build and was happy to make sure we were settling in alright after we got our keys and moved in. Making sure the house was up to the exceptional standards that New Gen Homes provide, we got to be involved with the site supervisor Craig and Matt together. After a less-than-ideal experience with a different builder five years ago, Summit Homes has completely restored our faith in the home-building process. Matthew D, our New Generation Sales Rep. He's not just a salesperson; he's a beacon of guidance, a trusted friend, and a master problem-solver. From the very first day we met him in one of the New Generation Display Homes, he's been there every step of the way. Questions or concerns? A quick phone call to Matthew, and everything felt effortless. It's a testament to the quality of his service that we couldn't wait to invite him over to see the culmination of his hard work when we finally received our keys after 14 months.

And then there's Craig G, our Summit Homes Site Supervisor. This man is nothing short of a legend! Every question we threw at him, he effortlessly caught, and every concern we raised, he gracefully met with a solution. Craig embodies professionalism and competence. We can't thank him enough for patiently addressing our multitude of questions, given our heightened vigilance following our previous build. We may have been a tad bit obsessive, but Craig always reassured us and provided options and solutions for everything, making us feel entirely supported.

Together, Matthew and Craig have transformed our home-building experience into a thrilling and seamless journey. We owe them and the entire Summit Homes team an immense debt of gratitude for their unwavering dedication and hard work. They've turned our dream home into a reality, and for that, we're truly thankful.

This has been the best process ever. Easy and stress less step by step journey, being a first home buyer it can be daunting but Matt Diamond has helpers me through everything. After hours calls and breakdowns of information, really helping me understand everything and run smoothly, wouldn’t build with anyone better.

We have recently signed up to easy start to build our first home. We were approached by Matthew, since the start Matthew has done everything he can to keep the build within our very tight budget. He has pulled strings with our land developer, worked extra hours on a Sunday to accomodate us signing our contract and has been on the other end of the phone to answer any silly questions.
We can't thank Matthew enough for all his help so far, this has given us the confidence that the whole process with be smooth, which is exactly what we need being our first build.

David Chen has been amazing since our first meeting. He was professional, accommodating, friendly, and he always responded quickly to all my queries. I felt comfortable chatting and discussing my ideas with him. Although it is only the beginning stages, but the experience with David and New Generation Homes has been great so far. I am looking forward to all the upcoming meetings and seeing my home come to life with New Generation Homes.

It was a big decision on who to build with for our investment property in WA, as we live in different State. Luckily we found New Generation Homes on the internet with a very good reviews. So we called and met Jessica Aureliano, who assisted us very well from the beginning. She presented different plan options to make sure that we are satisfied with our future investment property. Jess is amazing, very professional and always keep us updated. So far, everything is going smooth. We highly recommend New Generation Homes.

We were undecided as to whether to purchase a home or build. After looking in at the market and homes for several months we decided to look at display homes. It was while looking at a New Generations display home that we meet A. We set up a meeting with him, he asked us what we wanted in our home, what our budget was etc. This helped him to select plans for us to look at and when we narrowed it down to a couple, he took us to have a look at those homes that were being built and at lock up stage so that we could make our final choice. A has been so helpful at every step so far as he knows that this is our first time owning a home. While we are only at Pre-start stage, we look forward to working with A and the summit team on this journey of building our home.

Jess have been awesome through out this journey of finding land and quotes. We have been getting much follow up and feedback in all the stages we have completed making her a plus in communication.

Naresh has been very supportive and responsive to us. He went the extra mile to get us good deals and discounts. Would definitely recommend him for first home buyers.

I have only begun my journey on building my first home, and so far I am very impressed with New Generation Homes/Summit Homes and my new home consultant Jess. She has been very helpful in finding the right location and house design to fit my needs, she has exceeded all of my expectations with the package she has put together while taking my budget into consideration. We are just through the first step in our building journey and Matthew Diamond, our New Home Consultant from New Generation Homes has been such a massive and overwhelming support for us. We had been oscillating between wanting to go through with building or chucking aside any hope of making a dream home a reality for months, but Matt had been so kind in assuring us (with a touch of humour and humility), answering our 1000+ questions lightning-fast and making the stressful decision making process a bearable one. New Gen Homes specs are just worth the value and for a low to average-tier budget, we are satisfied with what we will be getting with the homebuild. NGH really set the bar of expectations high with the first stage. Hoping for a very smooth construction phase, but happy to journey through it all with Matt's guidance and experience.

I was attending home opens around Lakelands and decided to stop in at the display village to have a look at what a new build would cost in comparison to buying established. I spoke with Matthew Diamond at the Tasman display home and he was very helpful and informative as to what the process and benefits would be to build. I then met up twice more after deciding to proceed with a new build and each time he was very patient with all my questions, he helped find a house plan that I liked, and offered suggestions and options to customise the design to suit my needs and show me different land options in several estates. So far it has been a smooth process and I look forward to continuing to the next stage of this journey.

Jess has been incredible through our whole process. She has encouraged us when things got tough and she celebrated with us when things went our way. Through every step, she has been knowledgeable and thorough including finance, land, market knowledge, build design and keeping to budget. We can't thank Jess enough!

We were very impressed with our consultant Alberto who went above and beyond with our many alterations. He was proactive and responsive to our needs and together with a great product tipped out decision in New Generations favour. Looking forward to the next step in our house build.

I don't often review things but have to make an exception for New Gen/Summit. Sam Lutey and Isabella Carr were an amazing help throughout the design and prestart phases, doing everything they could to help me throughout a new and difficult experience.

Throughout the build I received constant picture updates on where the house was at. Jon Rees always made himself available to discuss any queries or issues I had making the effort to come out to the site

I'm now almost at 2 years since completing my build and what I'm even more impressed at is the after sales service. I haven't had any major problems needing rectifying but the after sales support team have always made an effort to do all they can to fix any issues, no matter how small.communication and timing has been great throughout
