After the first attempt In which some shrinkage occurred, Nathan investigated the problem, and determined that the drying process had caused the problem. He did not hesitate in redoing the job, this time ensuring that the heavy wet curtains were hung vertically. As a result their weight resulted in the curtains returning to their correct length.
