Neds campground reviews
11I liked this campsite because of how quiet and small it is. Only a few sites here and close to the beach. One drop toilet available but all you really need. The sunset is amazing from on top of the dunes!
Good camping spot. Some sites have shady trees. Close to water. Cute native brush tailed mouse paid us a timid visit every night.
It’s good to stay, beautiful beach nearby and the toilet is clean.
Just in day time is quite windy and many flies.
A protected small, quaint camp ground tucked behind sand dunes. Great place for boats to launch
Jon and Terri are beautiful people and very memorable. Smaller campsite compared to others, easily accessible and a great beach.surrounded but trees and lots of birds
Terri and John were just the best! The site was fine, but my site has no shade and nobody told us in advance about this. Still, the host made our stay the best ever!
Great little camp spot. Some bays are better sheltered than others. Bay number 1,3,4,5 and 6 are the LEAST sheltered. Toilets are well maintained, but do not have any running water, and no showers. Bins are provided. Lots of flies on the campsite, but they seem to disappear after the sun goes down. 50-100m walk to the water, however it’s not a good place to swim. The beaches for swimming are about 20km drive further into the national park. The inlet road from the main road to the campsite is gravel, but is accessible with any car, doesn’t need to be 4wd. I had one bar of 3G with Telstra, but it was a solid and reliable bar because I was able to do pretty much anything I wanted on my phone.
Online bookings are essential to camp at all campsites in Cape Range National Park. Don't just turn up and expect to get in.
No running water or power. But you'll save time and money by staying in the national park if you are prepared enough to not need a visit to town for supplies.
