Native ARC INC / WA Wildlife Hospital reviews
31 Took our resident magpie in as she had been injured. Such a professional place, bery caring and thorough. After handing our resident magpie in, the receptionist took pur details, and address so that when maggie was rehabilitated she would be returned to her territory.
They gave us a reference number so we can email for updates on her.
Such a knowledgeable and caring organization. They do tours too, whuch is great to educate the community on wildlife!
A really great place to bring the family. We all appreciated the work that everyone puts in for injured wild animals. The children enjoyed being able to pet and feed some. And our enjoyment and learning was enhanced with our guide Lauren's clear love and enthusiasm for what they are able to accomplish. Thank you for a wonderful tour!
Took a Magpie into the wa wildlife hospital as he couldn't fly spoke to Jenny On the Friday at front desk she was more than helpful
Called back Monday too see how it was Going got a lady on the counter fog me Off she told me to send a email as she hasn't got Time to help my enquiry and for me to send a email with All The details tried sending numerous email but it was saying invalid address called back later to confirm address and once again another lady told me she's hasn't got Time very rude customer service I understand that people may be under the pump but very frustrating if you can't send a email and you call you get foged off its not very good service
Had a Raven with a broken wing hanging around. Spoke to these awesome volunteers and took him in. The lady on the front desk and Triage nurse were very nice. Definitely recommend.
This place is just amazing. Run by dedicated volunteers who were helpful and friendly when I called asking advice for an injured bird.
Amazing. Even when I thought it was something so small being a little baby bird they went above and beyond to try and help me the best they could. Couldn’t fault or recommend them any more.
Dropped off a ran over bird
The staff were very helpful and kind
Thank you to all the volunteers
Disappointed, kill bird's I've taken there. Told a lady that gave a big donation too that a bird (not native to Australia) just passed away. When U could clearly hear it squaring.they clearly destroyed it and told her it just passed away. Terrible since their renovations.
In response to the reply, "I heard the nurse say that we have to euthenaise, their not native to Australia". So to say it was the truth, was a lie, the bird was euthenaised. And you took the ladies big donation. Disgusting.
Dropped off a ran over bird today
the first second i entered the staff were so kind and helpful
UPDATE: the Lorikeet had to be euthanised by our veterinary team due to the severity of its condition
This place is fantastic. I took a roo in there that had been hit which had a joey in the pouch, past experience they are really hard to get out of the pouch so took the hole thing in there & let them sort it out. Staff really helpful & you can see they have a passion for there job. Well done to all of you at Native ARC.
Absolutely the best people to look after and help your local wildlife. We had a bandicoot with a major issue. They picked him up, healed him and returned him so he can live his best life in his home environment. 1 happy healed little fellow. If not for them He wouldn't be here. Amazing people from the front desk to all the carers, vets and volunteers He is a happy healthy little fellow, couldn't ask for more. Thank you from all of us. Including his friends!
The fellow that picked him up had years of experience and knowledge. Thank you
Fabulous place. Are very happy to take sick or injured Wildlife for rehabilitation then hopeful release where possible
These people are doing an amazing job, very passionate and great at educating children (and adults) about their cause. Worth the time to visit.
Fabulous set up and amazing staff Very helpful to the general public and you can even follow up on the wildlife that you dropped off!
Very responsive and helpful, drove to our house where there was a sick bird. Awesome service. Thanks Native Arc & Alex.
I found a bird in need of help i could not provide alone, having called the crew at native arc was put in touch with Alex, this man could not have been more helpful under any circumstance, I am so grateful that people like Alex and his organisation exist. Thank you all and I am sure our wildlife loves you to.
Incredible work and dedication by a team devoted to preservation of our local wildlife and all other critters that may need assistance
Took a Raven there after my local rehab couldn't help. Very friendly and professional. This will be my "go to" for any injured or sick wildlife. Recommended.
Taken two birds on tow different occasions i was told they would have to released back where they came from.sounds good to me, please let us know if anything untoward happens. No phone call, after 7 days rang up, same excuse oh took a turn for the worst and needed to be put down. Never taking anything there again would rather look after myself and release alive
A dedicated team of people make this place the incredible wildlife rehabilitation centre that it is. The Volunteers and Vet Staff care for 1000's of animals a year and do such incredible work in the community, rescues, education etc.
