The valuer demonstrated no local understanding of the property market and as a result he used data that wasn’t relevant to our property. The value he set on our property was only slightly more than the price of the empty block next to our property of the same size which sold less than a year ago, despite our property having been mostly renovated, a large workshop added and our gardens landscaped.
