National Lifestyle Villages - Helena Valley

You guy's are so fortunate to have chosen this village to live in, sounds wonderful, but then john wood and john green are involved with this village, both gentleman. I made the big mistake of moving into the sernitas Bridgewater village and am desperately try to leave. My friends susan and john got out of Bridgewater and moved to your village perhaps I can join them one day

The village is in a beautiful location surrounded by trees and paddocks with horses. There are resort style facilities, heaps of activities and a very social environment. We have made many good friends here. Plenty of nearby shops, cafes and restaurants is a bonus as is the closeness of the Swan Valley. You can be at a winery with a glass in your hand in 12 minutes! Moving here six years ago was one of the best things we have ever done for ourselves.

We moved into Helena Valley lifestyle Village over 5 years ago now, and have never once regretted this move. When we started looking at villages once we decided to downsize, as soon as we drove through the front gates here we had a feeling of belonging. Although we are still active in the workforce, we have made a lot of friends from all walks of life, and really look forward to our next 30 years in this relaxed and safe environment.

I moved in to the village 5.5 years ago and have being very pleased with my decision. Life is very busy here with a wide variety of activities to choose from. I meet interesting people as we come from all walks of life so leads to interesting conversations.
The location is fantastic, close to the hills, the main highways if you are going on a trip away from the city. Plenty of walking choices around here as well so can keep fit as well, this is beside the activities in the village.

Cheryl and I downsized from Duncraig four years ago to challenge ourselves with a 'sea to tree' lifestyle. During the past four years we have watched the village grow with over 200 lifestylers now. We have wonderful new friends (still kept our old ones as well), a lovely house and enjoy the resort style amenities. There are over 40 different interest groups in the village e.g. Lawn Bowls, Darts, Croquet, Bridge, Dancing, Gardening, organized Gym groups, Swimming exercise groups and the list goes on. The bus outings to the wineries, shopping venue, theatres etc are on almost every week. Breakfast in the Café is something to look forward to. The village setting in light bushlands with plenty of trees (and bird life) is amazing. Definitely worth the visit to talk to the Admin and Sales Staff, very friendly and plenty of information to share.

We moved in 3 years ago and we are very happy we did so. We have made lots of good friends and there is plenty to do. It’s also only 30 mins from Perth city, 10 mins to midland gate shopping centre and 10 mins from Kalamunda. You can choose to join in to the many activities (arts and crafts, bridge classes, bush croquet, bowls, swim aerobics, gym, darts, snooker, bush walks, talent nights, bingo, Sunday breakfast, Italian night, Indonesian night, Indian night and many many more) or not, it’s your choice. The village is also very beautiful and tries to keep everything native to WA.

I have been living at the village for a year now. What impresses me the most with living here is that the moment you go through the village gate you immediately have over 150 friends who all know your name and all give you the time of day. I have never laughed so much in all my life since moving in and can thoroughly recommend living in the village.

We haven’t regretted the decision to move into this Village. The amenities are improving all the time, the sense of community is terrific and access to local facilities is so easy. The location, with trees and the background of the hills is lovely.

We have met really nice people, and made a lot of great friends, also whilst walking around the village there is always someone to chat to.
We feel safe in here, & there is always someone to check on you.
This is the best move we made, & are here to stay.

Fantastic Lifestyle village in a beaut location. Great care has been to preserve the natural lay of the land and trees.

Beautiful setting and the facilities are really well designed and match the landscape and ambiance of the place. Friendly staff and residents, and they've kept all the trees, well worth a look:)

I dealt with the General/Project Manager who was extremel arrogant and impersonal. I hope he was not a reflection of the staff at the village.
