On June 8th I reached out to Napoleon Finance based on a recommendation from my trusted Accountant of 40 years. Despite the absence of the initially recommended person, I was fortunate the receptionist suggested other brokers who could assist me.

Within an hour, I received a call from Charles Parry, a young man with an incredibly professional phone manner.

Applying for a first home owners loan for my son, who has a steady income and no other debts, should have been a straightforward process. I wanted the loan experience for my son to be seamless, memorable and, above all, professional.

Unfortunately, my previous broker, whom I've known for over 20 years, proved to be unreliable and inefficient. Despite having my son's information for two months, he failed to find a suitable solution.

His recommendations kept changing, from one bank to another and even to obscure lenders I had never heard of. His application processes were poorly managed, and both applications he submitted to different lenders fell through at the last moment. It was a frustrating experience, and with settlement only 15 days away, I realised we were going nowhere.

Then I called Napoleon Finance had the pleasure of speaking with Charles, who turned out to be a breath of fresh air. Energetic, professional, articulate and sensible, he listened attentively to our needs and gathered all the necessary information. He promised to provide recommendations the next day, and true to his word, he called back with excellent suggestions. He set expectations and delivered.

He proactively contacted the business development managers of mainstream banks to discuss our situation, emphasising the urgency of finding a solution. The final recommendation Charles made was financially suitable for my son and didn't involve paying LMI (Lenders Mortgage Insurance), which would have cost over $10,000 with the previous lenders the other broker suggested.

I promptly provided Charles with the required information, and he completed the paperwork that very evening. Charles had The loan had been 'Unconditionally Approved’ within days and we expected documents shortly.

All of this was accomplished within four business days.
