Nails Idol

Tried it out for the first time, will never go back. Lady was super aggressive, hurt me multiple times with her own nails and filed my skin. She filed the sides of my nails after applying gel on the nails. I asked for square shape and she didn’t do it that way. After filing she brushed off the powder carelessly and put polish over it leaving the visible dust on my nails. Length of the nails were all different. Lady wasn’t too pleased when I asked her to fix her mistakes, please learn to serve your customers well, we pay a lot of money for your service. Quite disappointed.

Most aggressive and rudest nail salon I have ever been to. I had to physically pull my hand away multiple times from the pain caused by the nail tech. Do not waste your money here. Multiple flaws on my nails was not worth the amount of money I gave.

If I could give it no stars I would. 55 dollars for a pedicure. Nails unevenly filed, cuticles cut into and no hard skin removal from soles of feet. Poor service in a dirty salon with unclean looking equipment. I won’t be back

I paid 45 for a pedicure before they began on my feet, I want my money back. They didn’t even turn bath on to soak my feet, no scrub nothing.all they did was painted my french tip didn’t cut cuticles or anything it looks ugly. They filed them quickly after they were painted and that’s it, was done in 10 minutes crying as I left the store. Very disappointed only coming back to get my money.

First time at Joondalup salon, very rude & rushed job. Came back for the second time as 3 nails had broken and I wanted them fixed. I didn’t expect to be welcomed by the young gals full moon on arrival. In a place of business the service was horrible & I felt I was at the skimpys instead of a bloody nail salon. Wont be back again.

Oh and if you have all day, I suggest you come here as you wait such a long time to even get started.

BEWARE! Go anywhere but here! I was cut with an electric drill to the point blood was drawn. The salon and equipment are FILTHY, the staff are incompetent and rude and they will scream at you when you raise any problem! Super expensive and terrible job which was nothing like I asked. I walked out without paying and I now go to fashion nails around the corner. MUCH better in every way!

The service here is absolutely shocking! They hardly speak to you and when they do they are beyond rude. I use to come all the time and always had great experiences however this time was awful. All customers were looking around at each other confused on how people can be so rude. They aren’t helpful or welcoming when they “greet” you. I waited for over an hour and wasn’t spoken to the entire time I was there. I ended up walking out and tried to speak with the staff on my exit and was blatantly ignored. Stay away there are way better nail salons in Joondalup - go anywhere else!

This message is to the owner directly. Please take pride in your business and your job-clean the place, it is filthy. Nail salon should be sanitary. You are charging a lot so give your customers a good service in return.

Worst customer service and need more training I will not go back again very bad experience

I got 80% of a pedicure.as I was about to get up and leave the nail tech casually mentions to me that she didn't put any shellac on my pinky toe nails because there was no nail there.well I walked in with 10 toenails why do I suddenly only have 8.what did you do? !
I do have ridiculously small pinky toe nails to the point it is ridiculous but never in my life have they been cut so short that they don't exist. So I now have a different colour of regular nail polish painted on my skin where my toe nails used to be.what freak.
Also this place is way more pricey than other nail places offering the same services.
Avoid avoid avoid.

Ive been going to the joondalup salon the Staff are rude.they just leaving you sitting there. They sit and speak their own language to each other with no interaction with the client. Last pedicure i had the girl cut my toe probably because shes always checking her phone they Never go out of their way to help
Will NOT go back there

Cold water used on pedicure, paint everywhere on skin, uneven french tips and charged more than what they usually charge.

So friendly and chatty, couldn’t be happier with my nails! Answered all my inquiries and was very knowledgeable! You don’t get that very often with the nail stores in the shopping Center but this girl really knew her stuff ️

Got my nails done here twice and both times I was really happy with the results although a bit pricey, I got my nails done for my ball this morning and when I went up to pay I noticed the girl at the counter had sneakily taken a photo of me which made me feel very violated as it wasn't even a photo of my nails just a random photo of me, I was too scared to ask her to delete it and right before I left she told me I was pretty which was nice of her but the fact she took a photo of me without my consent will be my reason for never returning.

The lady that did my nails was alright to talk to. However, they often roughly pull or twist my finger to adjust to their position, hurting me in the process. The lady had trouble sticking some stickers to my nails (as the original design was) so the manager came to inspect it I guess. From standing, she just pulled my hand without any warning to see what was wrong. I mean, they talk in their language %95 so I can’t really guess she needed to see. The final result wasn’t good unfortunately, was chunky and wonky and the stickers were literally sticking out like little horns but they just coated on top like that. They charged $70 for refill (it used to be $50 as in 2 weeks ago) I don’t think I will comeback to this place.

I’ve been having my nails done monthly for years now and I’ve recently decided to try a new place. I tried nails idol in whitfords. Going in I was served right away and the process began of me receiving my acrylics. The first girl seemed nice but I felt although the process was rushed and a bit careless, I was then passed onto which I think was a trainee who finished off the job. I paid and left but I couldn’t help but notice my nails were all slightly different lengths and their was even dust left in the paint, not to mention I was covered in colour and glue. I quickly went back in and explained to the girl what was wrong and thankfully she re-did them for me and although they are better she used the wrong colour and my nails are now bendy and snapping off even though acrylic is alway super strong. I DO NOT recommend this place. Waste and money and time.

I went to the joondalup one.it was horrible.i asked the lady how long they wait was and she completely ignored it.i then i asked the lady if they did student discount which she replied YES only if i payed with cash? What’s the different? Oh yeh you guys just dont want to pay tax or whatever.then when i went to pay the lady said we dont do that.so what the lady lied to me? She the.charged me wrong and i payed $15 more.and then she made my mums nails look AWFUL and cut her multiple times while being ruff.i will never be returning and tell joondalup to not lie to it’s customers because you’ve lost some and if they hate their job so much go get another one.will be telling everyone to not go here.

Joondalup one, staff are really rude, nails were bulky, very harsh using the drill making my fingers bleed and very uncomfortable experience, even chipped within a couple of days. After a week, they had all fallen off. Paid way too much, and wanted to over charge me for the original design wanted, so just chose two colours instead. Woman was very judgy. Worst nail place ever experienced.

My daughter-in-law gave me a voucher for Xmas, as soon as they found out they must have got the most less experienced. Had refills. Ripped one of my nails off which did not need to come off and added on price, not only the pain in ripping it off the drilling was the worst experience ever. I had them re done after a few days as one of the nails was digging onto the side of my skin. Never agsin! Little do they know, I would have been one of their best customers as I now work in the centre. Oh well I will go back to professionals in innaloo who have been the best

I got SNS french tips done for the first time (I've had acrylics done before at another place). They got me in quickly and the lady was friendly.
Unsure if it is the quality of the nails, or just SNS in general as i haven't had it before. But they are a bit bulkier and thicker than acrylics. They are a tad uneven in length. Not bad but i might stick to my local which is more affordable too.
