Sand very soft, had to rescue of a friend's 4wd, buried up to the axels, always remember to LET your tyres down or this will happen to you

Very quiet and calm beach in the mornings. Windy and wavy in the afternoons. Soft sand. There is a protected area for people sit in between the poles. The rest of the beach is 4WD accessible. Not much to see when snorkelling.
