My Bayon reviews
59The service was great even though it was a busy night. Food was alright. The portion was big.
As a first-timer trying Cambodian cuisine, my experience at My Bayon in Perth was absolutely delightful. The flavors were an exciting new adventure for my palate. Each dish was a harmonious blend of unique spices and fresh ingredients, capturing the essence of Cambodian culinary traditions. The atmosphere was inviting, and the service was warm and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. My Bayon is a must-visit for anyone in Perth looking to explore authentic and delicious Cambodian cuisine. Highly recommended!
The food was delicious, the presentation of the dish is excellent, the staff is very friendly. I recommend springrolls, Pad Thai and Mok Curry a combination of unique flavors, it was the best.
Muy Recomendado!
Incredibly tasty and fresh food. Flavours were perfect. Great service. Can't wait to go again.
Ordered the stuff chicken and the char kreoung beef. Both were really tasty. Today is day 3 so far of my 5 day visit for work. Clearly the best meal so far! I walked in and got a seat as I was early. Otherwise I think you have to make reservations.
Authentic and excellent Cambodian restaurant. Please book a table in advance because it does get busy.
I tried their Tom Yum and I’d say it was one of the best I’ve tried. Also their fried rice was also one of the best I’ve tried. I tried their Khmer steamed veggies, very unique. I tried similar dish in Vietnam but this one was different. Anyway, they were all good. Great portion, great price and great staff! Highly recommended.
First time visit My Bayon and I’m absolutely loved it! All the food we ordered were delicious and rich of flavour. I ordered combination laksa for my main, it is not disappointing. You get all the meat they offer from chicken, beef and seafood. My first Cambodian restaurant and I will definitely recommend it to my friends and family. I will definitely come back again.
First Time having Cambodian food, did not disappointed.
Laksa sweeter then other Laksas very different from Malaysian ones, the pork knee was good heavy Chinese influenced seasoning. Was a little bit dry could be more moist.
Cambodian food is very interesting, it does remind a hybrid between thai, vietnamese and Chinese with a touch o Khmer uniqueness
Had the best food at my Bayon. My personal fav was the Mango Rice desert. The quality and quantity of food was generous.
Can understand why My Bayon is so well reviewed. It was fabulous. Food so full of flavour, and wonderful service. Prices great. A must visit while in Northbridge.
The Barramundi Ah Mok curry is simply life changing. Cannot fault this place, the food is on point and the staff very friendly.
Not Malaysian but as the sign says outside “South East Asian” My Bayon is a Cambodian restaurant in Northbridge - was going to go to Ceylon or Jom Kopitiam or Tak Chee but all were closed. The Curry Fish was super yummy, the fried rice delicious, the laksa was perfect and the papaya salad had a great kick. Definitely worth checking out especially as they are open Mondays when other places are closed.
My friends and I had a wonderful experience at My Bayon. The service was perfect and the food was heavenly. We had 3 different types of chicken meals and each had a distinct burst of flavour. I highly recommend!
I visited for the first time, I really liked the food and the service. I will come back. I recommend a visit
Spent half an hour looking for an open restaurant and stumbled upon this gem
Everything was spot on, would definitely dine here again when visiting Perth
Early dining, the earliest, like 5: 30pm. Had good reviews, gave it a go. Wasn't disappointed. Hardest part was what to eat. Will be back, staff lovely.
Waited an outrageous amount of time for everything, including tap water (we had to ask twice for water). There were two of us eating and our food arrived one dish at a time (my starter arrived 40 minutes after my friend's, and after my main course). The food was nice but just not worth the wait time.
Edit: I emailed the address as requested and received an offer for a couple of free beers next time I ate there but haven't been back
Excellent birthday meal, staff were attentive, food was great, the 8hr braised pork was delicious and very popular amongst other diners too - definitely a share portion, I had it on its own and it fed me for two nights. I'll be back to try the laksa and other dishes too
Thanks to the restaurant and the staff!
Friendly staff nice and clean atmosphere. Probably not a fan of Cambodian food, that’s why 3 stars. Nothing really to faulty
Ordered through Uber Eats and we will definitely return to experience the food at the restaurant. Despite ordering through Uber Eats the food was so beautifully presented and so fresh. We ordered the Pad Thai and Laksa both with chicken, surpassed all expectations. Thank you for a delicious meal!
