I had Masala Dosa today, which is so far best dosa I had in Perth and Melbourne. Sambar is to die for and chutneys are flawless everything reminded me.

Always outstanding! Authentic flavours, varied menu, friendly service, reasonable price. Can't go wrong. 10/10. Worth mentioning that Murugaas shares a shop front with a fish and chip shop so might be a bit tricky to find on your first visit!

Generally pleased. They are up against stiff competition in this industry. Had better but also had much worse. Pretty standard fare at a reasonable price.

Best and most authentic dosa in Perth. Small dine-in area but compensates with quality of food. Highly recommended.

We ordered Mehdu vaada, chicken biriyani and masala dosa.
Best things first- Masala Dosa was amazing, crispy and hot, the masala filling was flavourful, the Tomato and coconut chutney was great, sambar was exceptionally delicious!

Mehdu vaada- was cooked fresh on order, hence crispy on the outside and soft inside, with small chunks of onion, coconut, chilly, and pepper corn. Con was just that the crispy crust was not crunchy….

Lastly with the chicken biriyani- it seemed very different to me as the biriyani was heated up in a take away container and brought to the table in the same container…. As it was microwave heated, it was extremely hot that we had to carry it home with us. Coming to the taste, it carried all the flavours in the right amount… it was enjoyable.

One word for them- Amazing.
I was looking for authentic chicken chettinad with Uppam/ dosa.
And I found the right place.
The lady manager ensured to confirm my choice of how hot (spicy) I want my food to be and ensured it was just perfect.
I had 2 plain dosa with the chicken dish, and loved it, couldn’t stop eating.
Also tried the mango lassi, thick and tasty
Must try Adda for Mumbaikers and South Indian familes.
Ample of parking available.
Not on a busy street.
Open for long hours.
Very good at customer service.
Highly recommend them, traditional india family business.

We had morning breakfast here, the south Indian thali was good had Idli, vada, dosa pongal and kesari bhaat. The taste was good, liked the sambar and chutney. Service was quick and everything tasted fresh. Good option for weekend breakfast

Indian dishes, especially South Indian are just absolute delight. It's always my first choice for any takeaway.

Had the chicken chettinad on recommendation by the serving lady with traditional level of spicyness, not Australian mild. Very delicious, good amount of heat and complemented by the raita. Serving size was huge, leftovers for breakfast

I have tried Butter nann, Tandoori Chicken and Butter chicken.
Taste is very delicious and good enough.
Friendly and very polite staff.
If you want to try best South Indian food, worth a visit to Muruga's Kitchen.

Food tasted great, but the quantity provided for catering was very very low.

I ordered for 30 people and I ended up getting food for 15 (and the owner justified to me on phone that he gave me enough food for 50 people).

Only 20 people came for my event and it wasn’t enough for them (most of them were elderly who don’t even eat that much food)

I had to heat up leftover food and frozen parattha from the fridge. A truly embarrassing experience.

Again good tastes great, but quantity for catering is shockingly low.

Murugaas is our go to Indian restaurant and it is always excellent. On the weekend we celebrated my mothers birthday with 20 family and friends and ordered $350 of food. An awesome variety of vego/meat curries, samosas and naan bread and we ate like kings!

The place to be if you are craving authentic indian foods. They also do very good indo-chinese dishes.

We have recently visited Muruga’s Kitchen a few times for dinner. The food was excellent in every occasion. We specially liked the Aloo Staffed Naan which was really delicious. We tried butter naan, Chicken Butter Masala and also paneer butter masala. All the preparations were done just right. The staffs are very courteous and friendly. There are options for one to order over phone and then collect from the kitchen, as well as getting the food delivered at home.

We have tasted a number of Indian food joints in and around Perth. We rate Muruga’s kitchen very highly. Highly recommended.

One of best Indian takeaway in Riverton. Food was really delicious and staff was really friendly.

The restaurant serves authentic South indian food and fish n chips as well. I tried the south indian items. I have to admit that the food tasted exactly how it is in India. I have tried few indian restaurants in CBD but this place is the best. I definitely recommend this place for their indian food. The restaurant owners are very friendly and kind. Always will to help and guide new people. I will definitely go back to this place. I think I found the right place for Indian food in Perth.

If you are going by the face value of the business, you are completely wrong. This place serves the best indian curry I have ever had of my years in Perth. The chef and staff is so nice and welcoming. There kadhai chicken is my favorite. Awesome food, great people, highly recommend.
