Dr Slattery is such a kind and charming man. He was very gentle with our newborn and us as exhausted fragile first time parents.

We’d been seeking guidance from our birth hospital paediatrician, GP’s and child health nurses and being told ‘oh it’s normal’. I knew in my heart that something was not right.
After seeing Dr Slattery, we had a diagnosis, plan and sense of hope. Within days to a week we had a much happier baby and some super relieved parents. We reached out with some residual concerns which were addressed kindly and efficiently.

We are so grateful to have chosen Dr Slattery for an expert opinion and highly recommend him to any parent. It was just gorgeous watching him interact with our normally fussy babe.

Dr Slattery was absolutely amazing. He was so sympathetic and really listened to my concerns with my son. I have previously not been heard by doctors and it made me so nervous to put my trust into someone else but I could not fault him, I would not want to go to anyone else

Dr Michael Slattery, has been wonderful. My son has been seeing him for 6.5 years and his both professional and personable. He is so nurturing, kind, gentle, informative with a wealth of knowledge. Couldn’t recommend him enough!

I myself was one of Dr Slatterys Patients as a child. He is an amazing Dr and a wonderful human being as well.
The appointments maybe hard to obtain and the staff maybe abrupt on occasions but that's the fault of the health care system in general and not one person alone, keep in mind hospital workers entered their careers hoping to make a difference and help people but are now overworked, understaffed and after covid fully booked out!
I myself have come to learn as an adult it is extremely difficult to get your child an appointment for a good paediatrician is time consuming, costly and frustrating regardless of where you go.
I would not base my review on a single person on the hospital staffs behaviour nor the cost as you usually know what is in store for you when you go to a private paediatrician.

I have to agree with the others. The receptionist was very rude and snappy towards me on the phone. I was absolutely shocked at how she talked to me. Paying $300 for an appointment to be treated that way is absolutely unacceptable - definitely a let down to the business.

No receiving any response for my questions when I asked the doctor and at the end very expensive bill for answers such as it worth a try.go and ask the pharmacy.

Dr Slattery and Dr Crompton is absolutely brilliant with both my kids. However, for one of the receptionist, her attitude could be a lot better! I rang to check for an appointment as daughter has a really bad rash, only to be told that they could not help. I felt no sympathy whatsoever and she made me feel worst. Absolutely the last thing you want to hear when you have a sick kid at home. I do understand that you cannot expect an appointment straight away with the paediatrician but it would be nice to hear it nicely.

Your receptionist, Heather, has the most disgusting, downgrading attitude I have ever experienced. For whats supposed to be a high-end, private doctors practice, where people on occasion are either calling, or visiting due to their child being un-well (probably one of the worst of lifes experiences for most people) the last thing we need to be met with, is a lazy, slap-stick, horrible demeanour. Heather, I hope you take this feedback on-board, change your attitude, because, frankly, it stinks. I have visited your practice, and spoken on the phone with you at least 10 times before writing this feedback. I take feedback very seriously, and I think you should do too. Dr Slattery, your receptionist is letting you down. Feel free to find me in your system, and give me a call to discuss.

Dr SLATTERY is the most amazing doctor. He is so kind and sweet, exactly what you want in a paediatrician.

I think it's extremely unfair to rate somebody poorly based on their receptionist (that being said I have not seen anything rude from his staff). And also, staff come and go! So don't listen to the bad reviews, you are going to the DOCTOR (who is flawless), not his receptionist.

I want my baby to see the best paediatrician in Perth, and that's what Dr. SLATTERY is.
