Murchison River Caravan Park

Don't come here!
It's 11pm and some rude people have the music so loud that makes you impossible to sleep. Staff disappeared. Small kitchen no freezer. Cars driving fast. I'm sure there are much better places where to stay in Kalbarry. Really disappointed

Stayed last week for two nights in one of the cabins. Really good value for money, clean room and great location. Would definitely recommend if you’re wanting somewhere to stay in Kalbarri!

The park is in a good location and there are good walks close by. The ablutions are oldish but very clean. The park is a bit like a rabbit warren and the roads and bays are not that big. We were crammed in where we were but other areas seemed to have more room. The "dogs must be kept on a leash" policy is not adhered to and we had a terrible time with a roaming dog from the bay next to us. Approaching the owner didnt help. When I tried on numerous occasions to report the loose dog, the phone calls to the office were never answered.

Great holiday park with clean well maintained facilities. It’s not too big to retains a quiet feel and there is plenty of room at each site - you’re not piled on top of each other. Fantastic sunsets and the beach directly over the road. Only 30 minutes or so to Kalbarri National Park. We loved our stay here and would definitely stay again.

Stayed here on our trip up North. We were greeted warmly on arrival and shown our spot for the night. Perfect.

Great caravan park located right in the heart of Kalbarri on the river front. Clean, although old ablutions. Caretaker always around cleaning, emptying bins, whipper snipping and generally keeping everything looking good. Highly recommended. Best park in town IMO

Stayed for 8days, received discount after 7 days…. On main road, excellent conditions, excellent showing & laundry
Walking distance to most, very friendly people and Perfect view from tables on front lawn of one of the most Beautiful sun set in Australia, while holding a stubbie & talking with friends️will always stay here

Deluxe cabin was comfortable and clean. Staff very helpful. Great location. Walked over to see the pelicans feeding at 0845.

Had an awesome stay here, staff are wonderful, friendly and helpful. Ammenities are very clean and the park well maintained. We had a great site for our van at the back end of the park. Lots of shaded sites and green matting down. Couldn’t get a better location, just across the road from the beach, walking distance to shops and pubs So much to see around Kalbarri, we would highly recommend a stay at Murchison Caravan Park to explore the area

Here for 8 nights in the deluxe chalet. This is a peaceful caravan park with a top location. The chalets are very clean with good beds, lounge, tables etc. Lovely patio area to sit and enjoy the sun. Will definitely stay here again.

We have just returned from a week at the Murchison River Caravan Park. We loved it! Despite it being school holidays and the caravan park appearing to be at capacity, it was super clean as were the toilets/bathrooms at all times. The staff were very friendly. We loved the family bathrooms as it makes showering kids much easier. It is a really great location, being walking / scooting distance to the beach, Finlays, IGA, kids nature playground etc. I highly recommend booking spots towards the back of the caravan park away from the road if you have little kids. We are already planning our next holiday there!

Murchison was a great place for me and my partner to stay while exploring Kalbarri. The facilities were great and camp kitchen was spacious. We had a nice spot surrounded by trees so it was more private. The lady at the desk was lovely and it’s a really nice spot. The showers can get busy and if people don’t wipe the floor it gets really wet, other then that highly recommend!

Nice and quite, kind of an old fashioned caravan park, we liked it. All the normal features just a little older. Directly opposite the river beach, awesome sunsets. Would stay here again.

The town had scheduled power outages that the park was made aware of prior but they still charged a powered site rate. The park did not care. Facilities were borderline run down

Everything was good there. Our cabin was nice and comfortable location was close to shops and beach

Caravan sites are tight (close together). Amenities are good, all ensuite bathrooms. Very clean and tidy. Close to town, can walk to the beach, lovely views, some caravan sites have the water views, we took a site at the back of the Caravan Park, we thought it gave us a bit more room. Staff are friendly and cleanliness of the park grounds are excellent. We paid around $39 a night.
