12The centre offers a range of classes, you can check their website for details. Tutors are all unpaid volunteers. Beginners are welcome. Fees are on the website. Recommended
Sam Brown, thank you for putting into words, exactly what I was feeling, being on the receiving end of the unprofessional and downright disgraceful behaviour of the teacher today. I won’t go back to Mundaring Sharing or their new name Mundaring Adult Learning as I would prefer to share my skills and learn new skills with compassionate and caring people rather than people who are demeaning, degrading and don’t know how to relate kindly to people. Most of the teachers are great but the few that act like they have the right to pick and choose who attends the centre and treat the others so poorly, let the whole place down. I will attend alternate lead light classes.
Advertised as a community based adult learning centre, a place that people can attend to learn new skills while networking with others in the community.
Unfortunately teachers do not conduct themselves with professionalism, are often disrespectful and demeaning, and as a result this 'supposed' positive/supportive atmosphere is instead caustic and stressful for some attendees. Teachers themselves demonstrate puerile behaviour, not unlike teenagers in the school yard.
Until the centre can be managed appropriately and teachers themselves are screened for appropriate interpersonal skills, non combative classroom management skills and basic human decency as expected of an adult representing the community, I would not recommend these classes.
Very unfortunate as many attendees are those who would benefit from a supportive, community based initiative such as the idea and name would suggest.
Very disappointing.

I really enjoy my time at Mundaring Sharing. The ladies in my group are lovely and made me feel comfortable and encouraged me to join in. The centre has lots of additional group activities/entertainment which are fun and enjoyable to attend.

What a wonderful asset to our hills community. A fantastic range of activities available for adults of all ages and skill levels. No pressure and a great place to meet new friends. Highly recommend this group.
I've been coming to leadlight classes at Mundaring sharing for quite a few years. I have learnt so much! ! It's super to have this facility here. Such wonderful teachers and great meeting like minded people in the classes
This is a wonderful place. I felt accepted by all right from the get-go. I knew very few people in the area and after joining classes and spending time at the centre I have met many different people from all walks of life and have made some amazing strong friendships which have helped me through some very tough personal times. I'mo glad I decided to join and I will continue with my support of the centre.

Used to be community orientated but unfortunately they've lost touch with what is important. The committee in charge have no consideration towards families and a tradition of high quality daycare and are chosing to do away with the most popular child facility in the shire to get another building to do their workshops in. Lost total respect for this group and shame on anyone supporting this decision.
Not community orientated one bit. Bullying the local community day care center that many families rely on to shut down is no community spirit in my view. Knocking down a much needed day care to open up a womens shed for some arts and crafts that doesn't even target younger women is straight out selfish and careless. Lost my support and respect and I am sure many other community members. Shame on you all. I bet your children and grandchildren would be very proud to know how you destroyed other little kids happy place.
