Planty of fun, make sure you go with capable car and recovery gear, preferably with a friend
And there is no real direction

Lots of fun on an Enduro motorcycle but the track does get crowded with 4x4s on weekends. A few wrecks show how difficult some sections can be but there are a few chicken tracks around the impossible eroded rocky sections

A good bit if fun. Take an epirb incase you get stranded out in the middle of the forrest, in the rain with a broken gearbox like I did haha.

Best 4x4 tracks in Perth. It’s have options to choose hard track or chicken track. Driven my Prado and broke my rear diff here. Having alot of fun highly recommended

I haven't been here as yet only looking to see what kind of 4x4 tracks where around perth. And look for some friends to go 4x4 driving with

Best track to test the limits of your 4wd. Not recommended for inexperienced drivers as it can get tricky at time, but there is always a way around difficult routes if you are not up for it. Also fair warning don't try to cross mud puddles if you are alone, some may look small but one was chest deep.

Not a bad place to explore in your 4wd. Heaps of easy, medium and hard lines to choose from. Easy enough to complete solo.

Mundaring power line track.

Mundaring power line track is not for the faint hearted, however you don't need a monster truck to survive the track. For every hardcore challenge there is a chicken track, but not all the chicken tracks are that easy.

Good all round place to get comfortable or try some more serious challenges. There are always enough people around to help you out if you end up stuck. Most stuck 4wd's will have no trouble here.

DUDE this is it. If you’re a 4x4 enthusiast, love rocky off road driving or just need to get out and get some fresh air, the Mundaring Power-lines track (courtesy of western electrical) is a MASSIVE off-road track that has been paved by many drivers taking the path.

The path is miles long, consisting of chicken tracks (easy to traverse) and the big boy tracks, (the rocky feel your stomach flip at the anxiety of looking almost 90 degrees!) it sits by a gorgeous privately owned farm that’s big and spacious.

Word of advice, if this is the first time doing powerlines for you, go early in the morning and don’t make any reservation for the day. Take your time on the big boy tracks and watch out for murky water ditches.

Enjoy all:)

Not bad some fairly hard core stuff as well as some easygoing fun. Lots of people around the place so best to take care fairly close to perth an enjoyable place to go

Really awesome atmosphere. Everyone is willing to lend a hand to someone in need. The track itself can be as easy or as difficult as you want to make it with a few "chicken tracks" that will help inexperienced drivers/riders get to the next bit. There are heaps of side tracks if you want to veer off for some bush exploring.

Test your 4x4. Go there in winter and you can do the water and muddy tracks. Take recovery gear and tools just in case. There are hard, median and easy trails. Great view to have a bbq for lunch too

Great fun 4WD or motorbike track with variety of hills, rocks and gravel areas all set in to a pleasant forest backdrop. The track is wide enough in most places to allow a couple of approaches depending on how much you want to test yourself (or just dodge the obstacles). After rain the track can get pretty slippery and extreme in places for rookies.

Fun fun fun! Best and closest 4x4 track to Perth. Awesome track to test your off road or motorcross skills. Great views. Always bring visitors to this area, we make a day of it and bring a picnic etc. Lots of bird life.flora and fauna etc.

Has challenges for everyone. You can make it has easy or hard as you like. Lots of routes to escape out of back to main road if you've had enough.
