72Nestor is an awesome spanish teacher and makes learning interesting and a lot of fun. Really enjoyed my time talking spanish with the crew, thank you!
Excellent knowledge, and teaching skills. Mavra has helped improve my confidence in learning and speaking French. Individual training courses are available and the timetable was adapted to suit my FIFO roster. I highly recommend the classes.
I have thoroughly enjoyed being in Mavra's french class. I started in the level 1 beginners class for tourists and I'm already in the level 4 class. Mavra is an exceptional teacher who meets her class where they're at. I wish I had Mavra as my french teacher in school!
I have been taking French classes with Mavra for over six months now and I feel I have made a huge amount of progress in such a short period of time; I also feel that my confidence in my French ability has increased greatly. Mavra's classes are well-structured, engaging and fun. We cover lots of current and useful topics; I feel I'm not only increasing my knowledge of French language, but also my knowledge in areas such as literature, film, music, politics and linguistics. Thank you to Mavra and the team!
Loved learning French with Mavra. It isn’t your typical classroom experience as Mavra uses a variety of learning techniques to help everything land in one way or another. I also really appreciated the community aspect of the school which made it easier to make friends and get to know other classmates.
I have been doing french classes with Mavra for 3-4 years. She is an amazing teacher and classes are always so much fun. I would sincerely recommend this centre to anyone wanting to have a good time learning a language.
Small, informal and friendly classes make for a stress-free and enjoyable experience. Instructors are patient and friendly, and I very much look forward to the weekly class. Still a long way to go, but am feeling increasingly confident in the French language!
This is an excellent place where I could find a challenge for my brain. I’m studying French and started from zero since May. The environment is very friendly to learn at your own pace.
I have loved learning this beautiful language and Sebastian is a great teacher! Spanish is a bit complicated for us English speaking folk but the content and coaching provided by Sebastian and the MLC team has been excellent. The class even sang "Feliz Cumpleaños" for my birthday:)
Level 1 done, looking forward to Level 2!
Learning French at MultiCultural Language Centre has been fun and amazing. Definitely feeling like we (the class) are making progress on a complex language with a few laughs in between. Absolutely recommend this course whether you be a beginner or more advanced.
I attended the Italian language classes and couldn’t think of a better place to learn. Alessia is a fantastic teacher who always makes you feel comfortable, welcome and encourages you in your learning. It’s a really friendly atmosphere and the lessons are relevant and what you’d hope to learn.
I have been attending Italian classes at the MultiCultural Language Centre in Subiaco for three months now, and am really enjoying the classes. The classes are small and friendly and our teacher, Stefania, is engaging and happy to explain the nuances of the language.
Wonderful place to learn new language. My tutor Nestor was amazing teaching me Spanish. I had so much fun
Currently completing 2nd term of Italian to support future travels. Our group of 8 in term 1 is now a group of 5 - fantastic people to learn with all with their own motivations and all very patient.
Our teacher Stefi (new this term) is brilliant- pushes us when she knows we need it and very supportive when I am struggling (I’m the one struggling the most in the class). She has provided extra homework and revision to help my learning and with any luck I’ll be able to continue with our class into the next term.
Most of all it’s been fun, many laughs each class, as well as learning many practical ideas for our travels.

Spanish level 1:
Struggled with the numbers in week 1 but felt much more confident by week 6
Nestor is a great instructor and I've just signed up for level 2
Muchas gracias, Nèstor y hasta luego
Fantastic Language Centre. Liliana and Nestor are great teachers. The classes are varied and interesting and taught at a good pace. I really like the small class size which allows for some individual attention and gives everyone a chance to practice speaking.
My brother and I have done Spanish 1 and Spanish 2 through MLC, predominantly with Jessica but have had Lujan on occasion. My friend now also learns here with Lujan. Both teachers are fantastic, supportive and knowledgeable, and also so lovely. There are so many opportunities for practice within the classroom and outside too. The teachers really care and work hard to make us as fluent as possible. Highly recommend these classes?
Multicultural language centre is a great environment to start your language learning journey. Specifically Nestor (Spanish) is very patient, encouraging and makes classes fun by explaining his home country of Argentina’s culture and links to the language. I look forward to our class every week and am grateful for such a great learning environment
The best language classes in Perth with lovely teachers who are highly qualified and make the learning experience fun and engaging. I highly recommend the Multicultural Language Centre to anyone wanting to learn French, Spanish or Italian.
I have been having Italian language lessons here for four years and really enjoy it. The lessons are conversationally directed so that you can start using the language immediately in your everyday interactions. I would highly recommended taking a class even if you have no previous experience.
