Muffin Break Cockburn Gateway reviews
26The service was so poor, no hello just asking what I want to order, very rude people working in muffin break, my ice coffee was milky and the servicer kept touching the straw very disgusting
Insipid tea, coffee below average, and I know my coffee, my local served best coffee in the world 3 years in a row. Young serving attendants were rude, one avoidant of going near serving desk? And barista could be more hygienic when preparing hot drinks.
Came today and they had a 4 muffins for $12 special. The girl serving seemed new, however she only gave me 3 muffins even after asking me to repeat which muffins i wanted 3 times. I didn’t realise she had only given me 3 as she still charged me $12 knowing that she had only put 3 muffins into the bags yet i asked for 4 muffins. Very disappointed as she watched me walk away knowing I did not get what I asked for and did not speak up and ask “which was the 4th flavour you wanted? ”. Will not be returning.
Very busy due to its location, but the owners run this store very efficiently and provide exceptional customer service. The staff reflect their leadership well. The coffee here is the smoothest with no bitter taste. I go out of my way to get my coffee here. Enjoy
Inferior cookie: (
very dissatisfied with the chocolate chip cookie, was super excited cause usually they’re super soft but it was rock hard and inedible
it really hurt my teeth
@muffinbreak u made me sad 0/10 never again:/
Absolutely delicious chai latte.i will definitely be going back for another sometime.a solid 10/10
Visited this cafe at Cockburn gateway for the first time on a Valentine’s Day around 8: 30 ish in the morning. The female staff who took my order was extremely rude.
I am a regular customer. Staff are friendly, polite and have made an effort to remember my order. In more than 2 years, I have never had an issue with either the coffee or the muffins.
1 in 5 coffee s are reasonable - the other 4 are slightly warm dish water. Attitude of staff can vary greatly from owner to worker. Today (staff) was a rude arrogant will it stop me from coming here yes!
Coffee and muffin were ok but the staff were bordering on rude; no idea of the meaning of service.
Omg I met my Aunty for coffee today after what has been going on with covid so we thought we give muffin break another go but again was truley disappointed again your coffee was so burnt and I ordered a flat white with so much froth and staff not very friendly
Not easy to find a good coffee in south of the river, but always got a great coffee from Muffin Break.
Tried the muffins once and it's reasonably good.

AMAZING SERVICE AND FUNNY PEOPLE. I do reccomend this place and all the people who gave 1 star are high on drugs.
Have always been a fan of muffin break cafes but wasn’t happy with the Cockburn one. Usually they have really friendly staffs but definitely not this one. Been here for last Valentine’s Day around 8: 30 ish in the morning- the lady who took the order was so rude. She didn’t even ask me if I wanted the receipt.
Asked for a small long black (in a KeepCup). Was charged for a medium ($4.90). I questioned this and asked why I was being charged for a medium, and the cashier said no it’s for a small despite the register clearly displaying ‘MED’. Also ordered a small flat white and was only charged $4.00 for that. So why do I get slugged an extra 90c for a small long black in a KeepCup? Disgusting. Won’t be coming back here.
P. S. They also use Coles-branded milk and Vitasoy.
Nice staff. Long queue and three of us searching for food prices? Elderly lady confused and anxious she might not have enough money. The cabinet food has Kj's displayed but no pricing.
Pricing saves the embarrassment of asking and not wanting to pay a high price, or not being able to afford the item.
Surely more customers look at this than Kj's.
Staff said Head Office had put the No pricing in place.
Food came out cold. Sent back to reheat and came out with burnt wraps. Use of plastic cutlery? Not a very environmentally conscious decision.
Paid $4.90 for a tiny sausage roll with hardly any meat in it. It tasted awful and on top of that, itwas microwaved. Very disappointed.
