Mt Romance The Sandalwood Factory

I'm writing this review in response to a product bought - not the service received, which was lovely.
I bought a bottle of the Frankincense essential oil ($49.95) on 22/10/2023 - which smelled strong and lovely when I did the smell test from the sample bottle in-store. However, when I used the essential oil at home with the diffuser, the smell is so light despite having poured 30-40 drops into the diffuser (unlike other Frankincense essential oil from other brands I have that only required 3-4 drops). I don't know whether I received a defective product or it is just how the product is, but it is nevertheless very disappointing.

Ordered something online directly from the online shop AustraliaPost record indicated receipt but I never got any confirmation number and the parcel! Tried to contact the shop and no reply too! Thought it was a proper shop but very disappointing. Still waiting for a reply since got a message from Auspost on Tue….

Okay food. Great sandalwood products although the range is a bit limited. Pity the factory wasn’t working the day we visited.

Great place to visit if local, natural products are your thing. I swear by the skincare range as it provided immense relief from some irritating skin conditions. Family also use the products in areas where the water quality is hard and are happy with the protection the products provide

I was pleasant surprised by the extremely reasonable prices asked for the exquisite gift lines and the Bonging experience at the Sandlewood Shop. I have only the highest praise for the total experience of my visit.fantastic, knowledgable staff.plus the coffee and cake in the cafe was delicious which topped off the entire experience!

Large range if products to chose from, I love sandalwood oil. I love the 45min gong session. The service was was really good.

It was dispointing to go to a sandalwood shop with very faint smell of anything. The Cafe was great though.

Strangely no scent of Sandlewood in the place. Good place to shop for everything Sandlewood but a tad expensive. Cafe was good and staff helpful and friendly. Didn't know Sandlewood had nuts and you can eat them.

Great variety of many things from making your house smell great to you. Many things to look at.

I thought that the cafe would have had a variety of cakes made with Sandalwood nuts but they didn't have much at all. Coffee was fine. Shop is good

Located just outside of Albany, they have many products from scented oils, candles, skin care and more.
The staff there were helpful and friendly and willing to help you with any questions you have.

I came for the Gong meditation session, which was a unique and lovely experience in the "one of a kind" Cone. You have to see it! The resonance of the deeper sounds could be felt throughout the body and was calming and helped me access positive memories. More deep gong please! Apparently this session had much more of the higher gong frequencies, which I found less pleasant but still interesting.

The shop itself is beautiful, full of gorgeous sandalwood products, gift ideas, history, and a wonderful aesthetic. The staff are welcoming, friendly and really helpful.
There were testers for all the body and beauty items which is an absolute necessity in my view. The prices were cheaper in comparison to their same products in other stores (by around 30%)

I look forward to returning when masks are no longer a necessity as I can imagine the shop smells phenomenally nice. The sandalwood jewellery and homewares were amazing. I'll be back!

Really friendly people and the availability of things to buy amazing. Love the smell of sandalwood.
