Mt Pleasant Fish & Chips

These guys have been the best fish and chippery in Mt Pleasant for years, even with a change in ownership. The staff are always friendly, the serves are always generous and are thoroughly cooked - crispy batter and chips with that extra fillet of fish. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!

I had my first treat of Fish and Chips from this shop last week. The generous serve of snapper was cooked to absolute perfection, the chips were a delight, and of course a pineapple fritter topped it all off.

I only just managed to fit it all in!

You can guess where I'm heading to get my fish and chips tonight, can't you.

Fish and chips is very Disappointing.
My mate said it's good but not the result Im looking for. But at least better than the Freo Fish and Chips

Easy accessed shop in Glenelg St Mount Pleasant. Pleasant staff. Quick service (I did go early). Clean shop and easy to read menu with competitive pricing.
First time I have been here and would be happy to return

Our local chippy for many years now. Always great chips and multiple fish options. Always busy so call ahead to order.

This is a very busy fish and chips shop - an indication of the quality of the food and service. We had snapper and chips - big serves, presented in traditional paper wrapping (less plastic.). Fish was lightly battered, very soft and succulent. Minimum chips was more than enough for 2 of us, plus some to share. Waiting area has chairs, but all takeaway (no in store dining).

Takeaway. Chips were nice, fish (grilled) and calamari were very good. Friendly service, good portions and pricing.

Barra and chips are a must. The batter is nice and lite in taste and so you still get that Barramundi flavour with no excessive oily residue. Nicely done people.

Always crazy busy - but probably one of the best fish & chips in Perth. The chips are an absolute steal ($12.50 and enough to feed 8 people fully and then some). Fish isn’t badly priced either - and quite reasonable compared to most places in the area. Whilst there’s no online ordering direct, there’s a fair few delivery services that do service it. Staff are amazing (and do get to know regulars too).:)

Consistently good, caters for gluten free Coeliac well. Closest to an old fashion fish N chip place around.

Came here on Good Friday - rang a few days before and when I arrived at 6: 20 the order was ready 10 minutes before the collection time of 6: 30! Great job guys! The fish and chips were also so yummy and not greasy or cheap!

Actually quite decent, the fish was very well cooked and not too oil and the chips were good enough. Happy to come back another time.

Had the meal for 2. We got 4 decent sized pieces of fish for 2 of us plus chips and crab sticks and the Squid rings we also ordered! All were tasty and we loved it!

Unsure if this place is still open for business i'd call before turning up. Was the best fish n chip shop in Perth. Hopefully back soon.
Update: Its reopened, can finally get mussel fritters again

First time visitor yesterday and can confirm that the price was good the service prompt and my eighty odd year old father gave it a double thumbs up for quantity and taste, which is rare praise indeed. A little off the beaten track in Mount Pleasant but well worth the effort when the hankering for fish n chips hits

Unreal the best fish and chips around although I asked for a extra 1 dollar of chips in my fisherman basket they said sorry min is 2 dollars which I was a bit disappointed with but too my surprise I swear they gave me a extra 5 dollars worth that just shows me that these guys run a successful business and know how to surprise there customers well done

Have started going to Mt Pleasant Fish & Chips quite regularly now as they always give a great experience, from there friendly service and easy ordering all the way up to quality and size of there meals. I love how much they stack there chips up and can’t wait to go back there again.
