Mt Hart Wilderness Lodge reviews
8 We just had 2 nights in the ensuite tents.
Really impressed with the young and professional team of local and international staff.
The meals were truly amazing. 5 star standard.
Highlight was the helicopter flight with Macgyver (Jay) He really enjoys flying in the Kimberley and loves giving his passengers the best possible experience. Worth every cent.
This place is so good, great camp area where you can swim, has a bar and they make the best pizzas, and a great coffee if you havent had a descent one while Crossing the Gibb.
Very disappointing. We paid $590/night to stay in The Homestead". No glass in any windows, no locking doors, no inside toilets or showers. Very little privacy. $5 per hour for wifi, which never worked. The bus tours were glamping in tents which all had an ensuite. It seems to me that bus tours take priority over individual bookings. Toilets & showers were outside directly in the walkway to the restuarant, again, very little privacy. The rooms had no space provided to hang clothes. Washing machines were filthy & full of dirt & grass. On a positive note the food was superb.
Terrific camp ground with good facilities.and colourful! Wonderful swimming hole in the camp ground and others nearby. Sunset hill was also good. The road in had just been graded (late August 20210) so easy to get to.
The campground is fabulous, facilities great. The pizza was to die for and the fish and chips looked equally as good. Road in was really good
A great place to camp and has good good food and drinks.closed for the wet season now.
. Come back next year
Stayed in Safari tents one night
50km off the Gibb on gravel. A bit of twist and turn driving to get in and lots of little dips/floodways
Nice friendly staff at the time, mostly backpackers
You can get diesel
The meal is impressive considering where you are!
Safari tents with ensuites. Hmmmm. Definitely better than than self sufficient camping bit I'd rather have a donga with walls and proper lights and power. Personal preference
A lush oasis with plenty of character. The Lodge rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The campground is well manicured green grass area nestled on the banks of Barker creek. There is a friendly fresh water crocodile in residence. The restaurant food was fantastic and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Whilst you are here a walk through Dolorite (Mathew) Gorge is a must. Totally different to other gorges in the area.
