My husband and I had the pleasure of meeting Marilyn & Gianni today. It was so nice to meet such helpful and honest people. Marilyn I love your sense of humour. I came in to purchase a mens trimmer and came out with a lawnmower lol.

Went in with a faulty braun razor I purchased on Amazon in the Uk. The lovely couple advised me that it wasn’t worth repairing since the repair would cost more than a new device. The gentleman did however take a look and managed to get the motor spinning and explained what the issue was. Insisted I didn’t pay since it was such a simple and quick remedy on a product which is likely still faulty but they were very friendly and quick to help regardless. A lovely authentic shop. You’d be wise to visit here for a new razor or repair!

Fantastic variety of shavings goods. The owner is very knowledgeable, shared some best practice how to use a good shaving brush.

Had a fantastic experience. Was looking for help repairing an electric razor; was fully expecting to be told that it couldn't be fixed. But not only were they able to find a workaround and have it operational again, but they were able to do it in only a day for an extremely reasonable price. On top of that it, it was a very welcoming atmosphere and polite service, couldn't be happier. Highly recommend them.

What a find. Great shop and great service I fell across today. Beautifully faced windows and shelving inside. Some great items to buy. I’ll be back and urge you all to stop in and shop it’s worth it.

Product is great; service is shocking.

My order arrived 3 weeks after purchase.

When I questioned the whereabouts of my order, I was told that since the item was dispatched, delivery was no longer their concern- and that I should instead take it up with Australia Post directly.

When I pointed out the legal reality, that they are responsible right up to delivery, instead of any apology, they instead claimed they were doing the right thing by informing me of any tracking - which only happened on my queries.

When I informed them that it was taking too long for the item to arrive and that I had made a purchase of the same item from elsewhere ~ and therefore wanted a refund, they ignored me completely.

In short, nil responsibility from these people, only blame for everyone else.

Terrific shop with ultra-knowledgable staff, have been buying products from the lovely couple for years and would recommend them to everyone

A lady who works in it really haughty, looks you up and down like a stranger, no smile, no welcome.

This is a mr n mrs run place that is so dodgy.
They wont tell you about their policies and when u go for service or to return an item, they treat you a paying customer as second rate citizens.
The item I bought says complimentary razors with purchase which i never received.abysmal customer service whe taking peoples hard earned dollars

This shop has high quality products which together with the informed expert advice available makes shopping there a pleasure. Great old fashioned service which is nowadays so hard to find!

After 45 years of shaving with foam and manual razor, I was very sceptical about the efficiency of the electrical razor. Gianni, the owner, proposed to me a Panasonic 3 blades razor, not expensive.he explained to me how to use it and how to do the proper maintenance. I must say that this razor is amazing. It shaves really well and deep, like a manual razor, and it doesn't irritate the skin. I have used it doing both dry and wet shaving, and it is fantastic. Thank you Gianni for your advice.

Disgusting behaviour telling my mum who is a tourist lady happily enjoy herself by taking photos in London court as a tourist always do.the old lady from the shop jumped outside yelled at my mum said no photos.there is no sign says: no photos.how rude the lady is!

Friendly people but the prices are shocking. I went to support a city business as I've heard retail has been tough in the city. Just checked the online price (~$50) for a Merkur 23C compared to the $140 I paid. Fool me once.

Bought a quality razor and shaving brush recently and received good service and advice. This is a great shop, reminiscent of something in Via Condotti or Burlington Arcade. There is nowhere else in Perth with this range of quality shaving and grooming products.

Store hours not up to date. Paid a visit at midday on a Saturday to find them shut. Pretty frustrating after driving 30km and paying for parking. This is why retail is and deserves to die.

Someone close to me bought me a Dovo Solingen straight razor for my 18th birthday. The male store owner convinced my friend to buy a straight razor worth “$220.00” and then let it go for $180 because he was “nice”.
About a week Later when I was given the straight razor for my birthday, I opened it and my friend noted that it wasn’t the same one she was shown in store and it looked like it had been a little used before due to some swirl marks/fine scratches.
Either way the blade was completely blunt so I rang up the next day about it and tried to figure out what was going on, i explained to the store owner what had happened and he instead told me I couldn’t return it and also I’d have to pop in and spend another $150 on a leather strop and sharpening kit and when I asked if he does repairs or sharpening he said no he doesn’t so I’d have to buy the kit (my friend was told the week before when she bought it that he does do sharpening and repairs).
After explaining the situation to the male store owner I was not helped in any way and instead made to feel like we were ripped off.
Immediately after, I rang shaved shop in Joondalup asking about the razor and what I should do or if they have sharpening kits for less than $150.
They told me that they even have the same blade and it was advertised for full price at $140 and I found the same blade at Tommy Gun’s Barbershop for $145.99.
This just disappointed me further due to the fact that we thought we purchased a quality blade worth $200 plus but we were just ripped off and sold a cheaper blade that wasn’t even in new condition.
I am extremely disappointed with the service of this shop and I am certain I will never be returning.
If you’re planning on buying anything from here make sure you do your research online or just buy it elsewhere.
